This review is of this device only. Not any others regarding taste, flavor, or brand.The box was simple and low waste to dispose of. Both of which go far in my household. You simply open the package. If you watched the video you know how to assemble it. DONE IN 5 MINS.Assembly was painless and quick! The quality of it seems to be amazing. I had read better reviews of its quality vs other major competitors.I am an energy drink and juice drinker and have tried flavors of similar brands. Two of my main reasons for purchase. Another factor is waste output. For example if I go to store for soda. I may buy a 20 oz bottle and take a few sips and waste the rest. This product allows you to make smaller portions.The issue I had with was it was only user error and experimenting. I made at first a competitor brand flavor. I followed instructions to carbonate. It worked perfectly. My error was mixing it up.I tried to make a vodka and whiskey seltzer water like many are drinking now. I over did it with carbonation and lost most of each due to a fuzzy opening. I feel that comes with time.The device is simple to clean. The bottle is conveniently labeled with an expiration date.The device is small enough to fit in a drawer. I feel a more appropriate place is in a cabinet. Is is rather bulky with the whole setup attached. I believe it would be the only thing in a standard apartment drawer.Do yourself a favor. Buy this. It's a fun gadget to have at home! It seems very durable and a quick rinse and ready to use again.

My family was going through a dozen Whole Foods sparkling water bottles per week and decided we could maybe save a little money by making it ourselves. The Drinkmate got good reviews so we took a chance on it. It's good! Works quickly and well, and we even used it to make sparkling wine once or twice. (As it warms up outside, I expect we'll use it a lot more for that.)The CO2 canister that comes with it is pretty tiny, and refills are more expensive than we anticipated so I don't think we'll actually save any money, and the CO2 has a mild taste that I would rather it not have, but overall it has been a great purchase for us.Also, since my wife & daughter love it, we're drinking about twice as much sparkling water as we did when we were buying from WFM... I guess that's a good indicator!

I was carefully considering whether to get this, the Drinkmate home device, or a Sodastream, with the caveat that I do not really have enough counter space for a larger device. I was initially leaning away from getting the Drinkmate portable given the poor reviews of the isoda mini (the same parent company), but in carefully reading the description, this seemed much more similar to the Drinkmate home device, which has the best reviews on the market for a home soda-making device. I'm extremely satisfied with my decision to purchase the Drinkmate portable spritzer. It seems extremely similar to the Drinkmate home, except for an apartment kitchen with low-lying cabinets, this is a perfect alternative to a full-sized device. There's excellent flexibility to determine the degree of carbonation, and it's extremely easy to use. The drinks hold their carbonation well. No regrets

We're enjoying the Drinkmate Spritzer at our home. I have given four stars because the CO2 cartridges seem to not hold many charges; it takes three one-second bursts to get a full fizz charge to the bottle of water, but you'll only be able to do this four or five times before you run out. We are considering going with a larger CO2 cartridge, but it will mean we have to get a stand for the device since it really won't be portable any more. But overall, we are happy with its capabilities and definitely like not collecting plastic bottles of fizz water.

Happy to have this seltzer water maker. Easy to use and store. I found I did not need a stand for the counter. It takes both 10L and 60L cartridges [the 10L cartridge came no way near making 10 liters; still on the 60L]. It is important to keep the attachment face at an angle when connecting the bottle to the equipment. Also make sure the water you are infusing is cold. I think it better hold the C02. I like sparkling water, but tap water tasted too much like chlorine. So I buy distilled water by the gallon for under a dollar. Refills from Home Depot are the best price, so far.

This works well. It's easy to use - once you learn how to line up the ridges in the fizzer cap with the slots in the body of the machine, which are at an angle. It produces good fizziness, and I really see no difference in effect between cold drinks and warm ones. I get a good fizz in both cases. I like that you can control the length of time the CO2 flows. Makes it easy to get a good fizz without wasting CO2.BUT--- After I used up the first CO2 cylinder, which happened pretty fast, I took the cap and plastic wrap off the second cartridge, screwed it in tight, and ... nothing! It was completely empty. What a disappointment! As I had not yet gotten the larger cartridges I had ordered, I had to put up with a flat drink.Recommendation: Order some large 60l cartridges when you order the machine. The little cartridges that come with this don't do a lot of drinks.Bottom line: I love the machine. It gets 5 stars. The empty cartridge rates a zero. Hence I give it 3 stars.

Here's the thing - accidentally discovered (shortly after receiving this item) but with massive potential. OK, so you take a jug, 4 litre box or other such bottom shelf cheap white wine otherwise known as Vino Blanc and you subject it to a few shots from this amazing machine and .... waddya know.... presto!!! You have created a wonderful champagne! I'm not kidding. Try it! You can now serve champagne to your guests (or yourself) on any spontaneous occasion. Goodness knows how delightful the results might be if you actually used good wine as a base --- but let's not get carried away.

Get this if you want to make anything but water bubbly. If you want to add anything to soda water, get a sodastream. For any other use this is what you need.

Easy to use and easy to store.

Bought for tanks but they are too small and it’s too big and heavy to be really portable. I keep it in a drawer to save counter space. The included tanks are really hard to find a place to refill but SodaStream tanks work.The big issue is cost of accessories like plastic bottles, twice the price of SodaStream. I’d get that next time if manual version available.There are some advantages in functionality though overstated. Quite functional though.

The instructions are inadequate and the Co2 replacements are expensive. The bottle it comes with is too small, so if you want to use it as a replacement for club soda, you need to buy additional larger bottles.
