Spectacular
It is a very practical SSD drive. Its basic NAS functions make it very convenient to use. I want to emphasize its simplicity, I had read some reviews where they talked about the difficulty of getting it up and running on a Mac, I have an iMac M1, and after some simple configurations, I managed to get the app and synchronization up and running. As a suggestion, it would be a hit if the SSD could continue synchronizing without having to have the Mac logged in.Despite being made of plastic, it feels very good and compact, so far I have had no problems with it.Greetings from Colombia 🇨🇴

Unreliable and Frustrating: Why I Can't Recommend the BreeDrive Device
I've been using a Synology NAS for several years with great results. However, my experience with the BreeDrive device has been deeply frustrating, and I would caution potential buyers. This device struggles with file synchronization, inexplicably failing to sync certain files. For example, within a directory of Word documents (.docx), only some files sync, despite efforts to rename them to shorter characters to potentially bypass any hidden limits. This problem persists across various file types and is not related to filename size or path length restrictions. Based on this performance, I find even the basic 'robocopy' feature in Windows to be a superior syncing tool. I cannot recommend the BreeDrive device due to these issues.

BeeDrive
Very good device to take on a vacation or somewhere where you are without connectivity. Allows for that extra layer of backup in case you run into hardware failure so that you do not loose the majority of your work and information. A security blanket without having to carry a larger device.

You must buy this product!
If you are a person that wants your photo's on your cell phone backup, plus have your pc being backed up this product is for you! When the device is backing up it does not bother the speed of mu internet or my laptop! While working in the back ground you will not notice anything.

Great in concept, pointless in real-world use
I love the idea of a local backup drive that seamlessly backs up photos from my phone. The setup is simple. You plug the BeeDrive into your computer, change your power settings so the computer never sleeps or hibernates, install the app, and configure your account. Then you install the app on your phone(s), scan the QR code on your computer, and wait for the first backup to finish. The software is relatively basic, but it also has some options to backup or sync folders between computers, and it has some sharing features that I haven't really used. The best feature is that you can backup remotely without even being on the same network. For the first few weeks I was pretty happy with my BeeDrive. I had actually purchased it for my mother, and wanted to try it out myself to make sure it would work well for her. I'm glad I tried it first, because unfortunately it's been a huge disappointment. The BeeDrive is frequently rendered ineffective as an automatic set-it-and-forget-it backup solution. As a result, my backups are not even working most of the time until I go fix them again and again. Every time Windows updates and reboots, the BeeDrive app on your laptop is obviously shut down, and doesn't start back up until you log in. Besides that, the BeeDrive app itself sometimes updates, and requires user intervention to start backing up again. Maybe if you use your computer every day and can babysit the app, this is an ok solution. But it doesn't work very well for my family.I really wanted to like this, because it's a lot cheaper than setting up a DiskStation. Had I known that Synology was going to also come out with a BeeStation, I would have tried that instead. But as it stands, I've already been burned by one Synology Bee product, and they're more expensive than competing backup drives. You're paying a premium for Synology's software bundled with the drive, but and the experience unfortunately isn't good enough to justify that premium.
