We have been taking in some long-term guests for one of our guest rooms and needed an easier way for them to get in and out without having to have a key always. This keypad deadlock fits nicely above the knob, matches it well, and is easy to use for any guest that has the code. The instructions for installation were easy to follow, too.

Easy to install and great for the price

The product arrived with a cratch on the keypad. It's just a cosmetic issue that I can live with but it was a hint about the quality of the product. Installing was supposedly easy as it should be, but I encountered two big issues. The metal plate that holds the lock together is to thin and can easily bent. If tighten even just a little bit, the plate is bent and the lock cannot be aligned neatly, but if not tightened otherwise the whole lock isn't securely installed. The second issue is the flaw of the design that does not have space to tuck away the cable that controls the keypad. I did manage to install it and testing it with initial code. Then I proceed to set my user code. The lock worked but only a couple of times. Then it stopped working even though I can hear the motor turning when the code is entered.I'm not trying to destroy the company that makes this product, but to hope they will redesign it and make it usableHere are my suggestions:- Make the plate thicker/ stronger.- Use a stronger motor that is make of metal, not plastic. After all this this the lock that should be secured- Replace other cheap material with stronger metal.- Then you can change double/triple the price (I bought this for $30)As for this product currently, it's just not worth it

Easy install, replaced a deadbolt and set up codes in 20 mins. Very inexpensive for what you get and a quality product.

I really liked her easy Western to help it works great. I wish it came with batteries that it needs to function overall perfect fit, quick and easy exactly what we needed. Will definitely purchase others for back door and garage door.

The lock looks sharp once it's assembled. But getting it assembled--and getting it to work--is where I had problems.The shafts for the long screws were slightly bent inwards, so they didn't line up with the holes on the dead bolt. There's no way to adjust the width of the holes on the bolt, so it took a bit of pushing and pulling to get the pieces to finally slide into place. Even then it was a tight squeeze.Once everything was assembled, I tested the lock with the door open. At first, everything worked perfectly. All the buttons on the keypad responded the way they're supposed to. But when I pressed the "unlock" button, half of the bolt stayed outside the door. I tried using the key on the front side of the lock and the twist knob on the interior side. Nothing. If the door had been closed, I would have been locked outside. The only thing that would get the bolt to return to its original position was me pushing it in by hand.Clearly this wasn't going to work. But returning it to Amazon was very easy. I put the lock back in the box and brought it to Staples. They scanned the QR code on my phone and accepted the box. That was all. Amazon notified me that they had refunded my money the same day.As for my door, I went back to a plain deadbolt.

I was a little challenged to install this myself but between the instructions included and all the helpful videos on YouTube I was successfully able to install it on my own. I love that I was able to set it so my door automatically locks behind me once I close my door. I'm able to easily change and add codes and it looks very nice too!

Excelente producto

The delivery is very fast. This lock is easy to operate and works well. I like the feature that we can set different codes for kids to get in without a physical key. Do not need to worry about looking for the key to open the door any more. Plus, you still can have the physical key for the back up in case you forget your code:)

That’s pretty good locker. Easy to install and configurate. Strong enough and matches the hole which was used for previous locker. Very nice!

I liked ease of installation and the smoothness of mechanisn. One on front and one on back. Super good deal!

The buttons stick sometimes but overall worth the money
