The black light is a cool touch.

Solid arena, authentic brand, and lots of fun to use. The Beys are a great match for each other and the variety you can choose from these makes it even more fun. Decent launchers. These get pricey but they are a nice set. Also it really does bump up the wow factor when you put on the black light and play.

The last Hasbro Beystadium is glowy.

The media could not be loaded. This came in a brown Hasbro box which made it look like “stress free” packaging, but it had a second box art packaging inside so no worries for those customers who want a flashy gift for their kids. I found this to be an interesting and innovative Beystadium set that features the Light Ignite Beystadium that can shine black light on beyblades with luminescent paint on them to make them glow bright in the dark. There are 4 advertised zones on the stadium floor (as defined by the box art): three circle sections on and the section nearest the sidewalks. Whether this makes it “Quad” or not feels subjective since there are no definable circles on the final product. But anyway, the concave large circular area is the primary “Battle Zone” in the center, where most of the action happens, and it makes this stadium a close-quarters arena for practice or exhibition matches since there are no pockets in the corners to count as knockout areas (as were the case in previous stadium models) so this is more of a burst or spin-out arena as opposed to a knock-out arena. The set comes with 2 beys (Beyblade spinning tops) that are Hasbro’s cheaper versions of Takara Tomy’s (the Japanese originator company of Beyblade) product. Destined Evo-X Belfyre B8 (Hasbro exclusive lead character’s upgraded bey from the previous QuadDrive series, aka Divine Belial 3), and Ruin Pandemonium P8, respectively. The Takara Tomy version tops can also work in this stadium too, although they will dominate Hasbro products because Hasbro Beys are designed to compete with other Hasbro Beys and not the superior Takara product (differences in quality and materials used). The “Armor Tips” that can be attached to the drivers (the part that makes contact with the floor) that make the Hasbro design different from Takara Tomy is good in theory, but is not very impressive in execution due to the cheapness in quality, poor design dynamics, and weaker or lighter materials used. Even the yellow green Left/Right spin light ripcord launchers are cheap in quality and difficult to handle, but that always came with the Hasbro territory and are what was to be expected. Pandemonium seems easier to burst, but is supposed to be a balance type bey and good at agility… which is…. moving around fast, and Belfyre is supposed to be an attack type bey, and good at attack… which is…. moving around fast… Sooo…. the same thing. There are included 6 different performance tips or modes with which you can choose to switch either bey to which is cool in theory, but they also change the stats of the beys which could potentially make it perform worse. Let me get this out of the way: this beystadium looks like a luxury bedpan. There, I said it. Now that that is out of the way, I think this stadium would have been better had the stadium been given out-of-bounds pockets. In it’s place are 4 not-pockets designed only to house the 4 included yellow plastic stadium feet. There are also 4 included yellow clamps to fasten the safety shroud to the stadium. Under the shroud are 4 “Glow Tech” UVA [small, cheap, and weak] black-light lightbulbs, within the shroud are supposed to be three 1.5V AAA-sized alkaline batteries and are unsurprisingly not included. The battery door is located on the top of lighted side of the stadium. Yes, you heard right, the lighted side; It unfortunately only lights up half of the stadium. To conclude, the Beys featured in this set are lead character beys of the QuadStrike series cartoon (possibly the last Beyblade Burst anime series there is). Both beyblades featured in the animé look tailor-designed to look like the Hasbro product (albeit cringe), and they actually seem decent in the dark with the light on due to the luminous paint design. I think that you can still have some fun battles with this set if you have more parts from other Beyblade sets. As far as the stadium, it feels like a fond farewell as it is projected to be Hasbro’s last Beystadium for the Burst series generation (TT has decided not to allow Hasbro to continue making product and to only handle it’s distribution). So like other stadium sets, I do believe this is an okay set to purchase, if not just for your kids to plink around with (in the dark).

Junk

Don't waste your money! This was hard to put together and ultimately it's super cheap. The stadium is flimsy plastic and the magnets in the launchers arent strong enough to hold the tops so they can be spun. Emailed the company for help but haven't heard back yet and the live chat function on their website wasn't working. Super disappointed.

Very cool idea and design

The neon colors and black lightning takes the fun of Bey Blades to a different level. Very fun.
