I bought this cooling blanket for my Husband because he has to have a cover on him even in the summer time and everything we have is just too hot, I told him to put the sheet over you but he says it not enough. So I saw these cooling blankets on Amazon and thought why not try it. When I opened it a felt it Holly Molly! I had to have one too. We sleep in the same bed but have our own blankets because he wraps himself up like a burrito and hogs all the covers. Now that we sleep with our own blankets we are still married and I havent smothered him in his sleep lol just kidding I love him to pieces, he's a wonderful man.Yes, I bought anotherbone for me, then bought another one for the living room for a snuggy because they do keep you warm if you stay still if you move around in it, you'll find the cool spots. It is best for summer.It's supper soft, stays cool, good quality, not thick but not too thin, they have some nice colors. Would I buy this blanket again? I did, I have three so far, I may need another one, we'll see!

Immediately when I opened the package my son and I both stuck our hands in to feel the blanket and just looked at each other in awe. Its softer than silk, and the inside isn't thick-but has a squishy material that's satisfying like a stress ball. I've only had it a couple of nights, but those nights I've gotten the best sleep in years. If that changes I will update my review....I was elated to find more bedding made of tencel eucalyptus... Disappointed when I read the tag on the blanket to find out, it's 30% tencel and 70% polyester(which I try and avoid like the plague, because it's evil in fabric form). This wasn't advertised anywhere on the Amazon page that I could find. I won't remove any stars, because so far this product is glorious.The color is my favorite color and just as advertised.I don't know if it's all that breathable? I was sweating a couple of times. But it's amazingly cool to the touch every time you touch it.I think I'll just camp out in bed now where it's super comfy and just never leave again!

*I have the full set of sheets that comes with this blanket, so results may vary.I have been very happy with this blanket. I tried a few other cooling blanket brands before this and had an issue with pilling fabric and being too warm when using a sheet with it. Using cooling sheets with these, particularly the ones that come with the set, will not heat things up too much. The heat does not get trapped between you and the sheet as I’ve seen before with other cooling blankets. I’ve noticed the heat will also not get trapped as much if you lay an extra blanket on top of this one, but it will lose that effect at two.Something to watch out for, especially if you have the whole set or smoother sheets is that the blanket can fly off your bed. If you have a fan blowing on it, its lightness can make it fly off the bed. I usually have to tuck mine under the mattress. Other blankets will slip off from the top of it too.I would also say that the “polar bear in the tundra” level of cooling is a bit inaccurate… unless it’s winter. (It might actually be dangerous to use this in the winter because it WILL be cold.) I think it has the next step up from “cool side of the pillow,” particularly in the summer. Either way, it does a good job of exploiting cool breezes in the environment, especially when you have a fan.

I cannot say enough good things about this comforter! Not only does it fit the bed perfectly with plenty to excess for when my husband pulls the covers all night long but it also does exactly as advertised with the cooling effects throughout the night & it’s SO soft. We just moved to Florida and struggling with the summer heat already so this is a huge win for our sleep.

I highly suggest you give this Rest comforter a try!Original review: I’m a very hot sleeper and it’s very difficult to stay comfortable at night unless I have the air conditioning blasting and fan blowing on me even in winter. So when I saw the Rest ads I thought this would be perfect. Believe me when I say, I’m the exact customer type for cooling sheets/blankets.I’ll start off with the things I love and then explain why only three stars later.First, the comforter is incredibly soft. It’s very dangerous because you’ll have a difficult time getting out of bed. The stitching and material quality are well made, as you would expect at this price point. It is very cool to the touch at first, so there’s a rush of dopamine that hits when you touch it. It’s also very light and easy to put in the bed or fold up.I know it sounds like a glowing review, and for most people I would highly suggest if you sleep warm. But, my issue is, I become a sauna heater at night.The comforter, while initially cool to the touch, doesn’t stay cool. And it claims to keep you warm at night if it gets too cold so it’s a good all season blanket, but I would say that this will keep you warm in the winter but not cool enough in the dead of summer. The comforter is also not very breathable, which is what makes it more swampy and too warm for me. Unfortunately, it just heats up and radiates too much heat for me to stay comfortable. This is why I knocked of two stars for me.On a side note, I haven’t tried their sheet set yet, not sure if I’ll purchase because I already have other sheets that do a great job at keeping cool and staying breathable.

I bought the King size. It's only been a couple nights but already I can see this was was a good purchase. When I first opened the box I was amazed how cool it felt to the touch, light weight to. The material has that smooth silky feel to it. If you are a hot sleeper like I am this comforter will be better than what you're used to. I believe it will work even better if you sleep between the top sheet and this comforter to maximize the coolness against your body. Spendy but well worth the price.
