Started with the Smallest Bit and was able to drill 2 8MM Exhaust Studs and the bit still cuts good using (used lubricating oil) Extracted 1 stud using next size up bit and extractor. then on second tried using the small extractor. both worked great.

Did a great job. Got a troubled broken bolt out, I tried with a lesser brand. Had to get these. These gripped nice and strong. I will buy it again. Also, get cobalt bits don't waste time buying regular bits and they don't work. I wasted money on regular bits, bolts are strong steel, and need stronger steel to drill a hole in them. I wore out bits, they didn't drill deep enough to get a grip. I will buy again if i ever need to. I don't think so these will last a lifetime.

It got the bolt out thank GOD. Never try to rush a job before the holidays or you’ll find yourself reading my review 😜. Guys it works and it’s cheap. I’m glad to have these in my tool box, comes with more pieces than my borrowed auto store one.

Priced well and did the job as described by other users. Defenetly a tool to keep in your toolbox.

I really wanted this to work. We have some screws that were put into the stairs of our old house before we bought the place (previous owner had pink carpet on stairs). We have slowly been repairing our house but are a little stuck on the stairs as some of the screws absolutely won’t come out and they couldn’t be driven in any further either. I was hoping this kit would allow us to easily get rid of the screws, but it didn’t. The drill bits provided created a little divot in the screw but would drill into it properly. I tried to use the extractor piece with the divot it did create and it did nothing. I tried multiple sizes with both the drill bits and the extractor bits and none of them were able to get the job done. The smallest drill bit broke rather than drill. I’m not sure what kind of metal the screws are made out of but I do know that this kit wasn’t able to get the screws out of our old staircase. Back to the drawing board, I guess.

I ordered to get an Allen head screw out. The screw was also near bottom of motorcycle making removal more difficult. First you must provide on left turn drill bit in the proper size to match removal bit. Most people will not have set of these. Then they want you to tap this bit in which was impossible from bottom. After several attempts i gave up ordered a different set with the much better & shorter cone shaped grabbing end with drill bit on opposite end. Since hole already drilled using drill bit, was not necessary but i still did as shaped different to cut with drill in reverse. Then i filled over to aggressive grabbing end and easily removed the bolt. The shape of this remover might work if trying from top and can pound the bit into drilled hole with a hammer. This hole MUST BE drilled with left turn bit. If working from bottom i DO NOT recommend this set. Get old grabber type top. I gave 3 stars because the bit are well made, just not much grip, plus must also provide your on left turn drill bit. The all in one sets work better.

The bits were enough o back out the screws that were an issue but I have no doubt the taps would work as promised.

The base of the bit is square, having trouble finding an adapter to make it longer for my need.Should have been hexagonal. Might work for someone else
