IgenixDF0035T Oscillating Tower Fan with 7.5 Hour Timer and Remote Control, 3 Speed Settings High, Medium & Low, Quiet Operation, Plastic, 45 W, White

We needed a new fan for the living room during the hot weather this year and this cropped up at a decent price. It replaced a traditional oscillating desk type fan that failed and has done a sterling job!It takes up very little floor space, being an upright model and has a broad sweep of movement so covers the sitting area very well. The remote works from a reasonable distance, but only when the fan is pointing directly at the remote, the red eye must be buried in the front somewhere.It seems pretty sturdy on its base and is well made for the money, doesn't feel cheap at all. The base wasnt difficult to fit and was the only peice of assembly required.Level 1 speed is pretty quiet, no need to turn the TV up and quite bearable without the TV on at all. Levels 2 and 3 get noisier as the speed increases, but not distractingly so. I'm sure it would be comfortable to sleep with in the bedroom but we haven't tried it.Can't comment on the timer or sleep mode as we haven't used it.

I’m really happy with this fan, we used to use a traditional style one and that just pushed the heat around and never really did anything. With this tower fan it genuinely provides relief when you turn it on, it gives a cool breeze (not sure how as you don’t add ice or anything). The noise level is about the same as our traditional fan, maybe slightly quieter. The white noise actually helps my 18 month old sleep better than her “Ewan the dream sheep”! It’s great for her room as well as the tower has a timer on the top so I just set it for the amount of hours I want it to stay on for then I don’t have to worry about going back in her room to turn it off when the temperature drops. The remote is a great feature but unfortunately ours barely works, you have to press the buttons really hard to get it to turn on/off and the other buttons don’t work - this could be the batteries though as I’ve not yet got round to trying new ones. Don’t let that put you off though, the timer on the tower means you don’t really ever need a remote (we don’t anyway) and it’s such a great fan I would have bought it for the same price without the remote no problem. We have wall mounted air con in our office and the immediate relief you get when you turn this on is similar to the one you get when first turning the air con on. The only main difference is the air con drops the temperature of the room whereas this just makes you feel cooler when it’s hitting you. The top controls also let you choose between various settings but we just stick with the normal one and having it stay in one place which works well for us. Overall we’re so pleased with it I’ve just bought another one for our room. Definitely recommend it for the random heatwave days we get!

This fan is very powerful even on low setting you don't notice the noise above television very pleased with purchase.

Bought this about 2 months ago, does exactly what a fan should do! Keeps me cool 👍 I’ve read so many reviews and you could do that for hours so just buy this and you’ll have a nice fan, for a decent price. Steardy fan, 3 speed settings and remote control are great. I wouldn’t say it was super quiet but what fan is?!? I would deffo recommend

Amazing value, cheap and cheerful, but looks so much more expensive! Nice remote control and good cool airflow, not silent though so be aware of the noise. It's easy to sleep with it on.

Bought this fan as I already have one and I was very pleased with it. I use them in the lounge and they are quiet enough to use in the bedroom . Love the easy to use product.

This is a good fan, not as good as Dyson, but for the money pretty good

I’ve missed the deadline to return this by just a couple of days annoyingly. I was happy with it, tried it out briefly and put it in my bedroom for when it was needed. Only turned it on for any length of time yesterday and I just can’t get used to the whirring, almost high pitched noise it makes over the sound of the air blowing. I could hear it from another room and I know I won’t be able to sleep with it on, which is what it was intended for.
