Took out of packaging naturally it was very creased as you would expect.... absolute nightmare to iron, cheap stiff cotton that creases as soon as you look at it. Get to the end of a very frustrating ironing session to find any almighty rip in the seem, very poor workmanship throught if I'm honest, but by this time I no longer cared & adopted the 'well no-really sees it' attitude. However after consideration I thought it should be returned it was that bad so retrieved the packaging ,but no way was I able to reasonably to get it back in, by this time I was, done with it !! After a large glass of wine I got the iron back out, got the thing on the bed, got the mattress on dressed the bed & the flipping thing was as creased as when I first unpacked it ! Its so stiff it sticks out & doesn't even reach the floor !! Will live with it until I get to Dunelm & buy a quality one at a reasonable price !!!

Arrived today and on opening the package was presented with a ugly brown stain which goes right through to the reverse side of the valance. Did not expect anything exceptional in terms of thickness as one review has already shown pictures of how transparent the valance is but did not expect it to arrive with stains on it.Unfortunately, the stain is located on the part that is visible around the bed.I wrote this review because I would have appreciated it if I had been forewarned. Hopefully it may be beneficial to others.

The material is generous. Covers nicely and easily. Looks good too. I'd recommend this balance cover.

I wish I could give this NO stars.Absolutely shocking quality.So thin - the first picture I've added is just holding it up above a beige carpet - you can see straight through the sheet.The edge stitching is all puckered (2nd pic) and there are strands of cotton hanging from the end of the stitching (3rd pic).Also, as if the above wasn't bad enough, the box pleats are only at the bottom of the sheet, the top of the sheet as shown in the 3rd pic is just straight so it isn't made to fit over the mattress.I can't comment on the size as it only came out of the packaging long enough for me to assess it, take pictures and it's being packaged up and sent straight back to the seller.Shame on the supplier for supplying such a rubbish quality product.I am amazed how this product has achieved 5 star ratings in the last couple of months, the recipients obviously received a different product to me.

What a crap item, so thin you can see though the material, also has brown marks on the skirt part, so not useable, the company are refusing a refund, I have tried for a refund several times, just received rude remarks. Crap Crap Company

i needed a new valance sheet for my bed. As I already have an exisring colour scheme, I really liked the fact that it came in different colours to choose from. I opted for the plum as it closely matched my decor.The sheet itself is made out of breathable cotton. Colour is quite vibrant, although it doesn't run when washing it- which is a bonus. Easy to put on bed.Only downside is that it only covers the base and doesn't have elasticated strips to hold in place. It means when sleeping on it, it will move and you have to adjust again in the morning.

It's only for base not the mattress so beware when buying this as I went on the pic and when I opened it and it was for the base not amused I must say but if that's what you're looking for then still don't buy it for nearly 7 pounds I'm sure there are better thickness of sheet out there as this one is rather thin

The measurments are a bit out. I know that they stated 'approximate ' but the overhang is only 35 cm not approx 40. That is quite a bit out. But after a good ironing it looks smart and is good value for the price. So I am pleased with it. Thank you.
