I have a rectangular walk-in shower that occupies the same space as the bathtub that was originally in that space. The surface of the shower floor is ridged to be non-slip but the ridges have worn down in spots. This mat is large enough to cover the whole surface except for the drain area. Additionally, it has a flat surface which will firmly grip the shower floor and not move. It has adequate bottom drainage to allow the water to drain off and to facilitate rinsing out the soap and shampoo. The surface is a bit on the rough side and may feel uncomfortable to some but the slight discomfort is a fair trade for a sure grip non slip shower surface.

I never knew there was a bath mat like this and I'm so happy I found it! It looks great, feels terrific on my feet and is very easy to keep clean. Just rinse after your shower!! I don't want to hang my mat over the tub or anything like that, to avoid dripping on the floor, so I took a skirt hanger with clips on it. Clip the mat to the hanger and hang it off my shower caddy!!! Works just perfect!!!! Awesome Mat!!!!!!

I wanted to wait until I had used the mat for a while before commenting. After 3+weeks of use, I can honestly say I love this mat! My tub has some texturing on the bottom so rubber/silicone mats with suction cups tended to slip around, and the last thing any of us over a certain age want is to take a tumble in the shower. This mat has not slid at all and I feel very secure now in the shower. I hang it over the edge of the tub between uses and it dries out quickly. I detected no unpleasant odor when I took it out of the packaging and haven't detected any since. Very glad I chose this mat!

We feel much more secure when showering and don’t worry about slipping. However, when finished it has to be picked up to allow water to drain and there are suds around it. The process of moving it and swiping water to the drain does leave us in danger of slipping. It will not stand on its own to dry and as I don’t want it to sit in water to mold, we are still working on how to drape it over something to dry. No rails for that unfortunately. Still, in terms of shower safety it works well, and I am happy with the purchase.

Feels very nice on the feet, did not slip in the shower at all, easy to cut and shape to fit, easy to rinse and clean and hang to dry. I got it mostly for my new adopted dog. She has three legs because someone shot her, and I didn't want her to slip when giving her a bath and injure her remaining front leg. Very nice bathmat. I am extremely pleased with it.

I am so happy that I found this bath mat. I had one called the secure mat for a while and I'd liked it very much but it is outrageously expensive. This one is even better quality for a lesser price and I could afford to get the size that I really wanted. I am super happy with this matte and if I need to replace the one I have I'm definitely getting another one of these. Highly highly recommend for anyone concerned about slipping in the shower. It is excellent for non slipping and very comfortable to stand on. Super easy to rinse off and dries well. I hang mine to dry which prevents any potential mold. It's just an all-around excellent bath mat.

tub tray fills w water, with the mat as is. it does prevents slipping and feels good under foot. I might cut it but going to use as is for a period of time to test it out farther. It does not stick to wall as suggested for air drying

I've only used this twice but I love it for a textured shower. It stays in place better than any mat I've had. I like that it has a loofah texture, I'm sure it will help slough off dead skin on your feet. It's not uncomfortable at all. If anything changes I'll let you know. I believe if you have a textured shower this will work for you. I feel safe on this mat. I'm 69 so I always safe in a shower.

Lo compré para mi abuela. Es antiderrapante, se adhiere muy bien al piso mojado y es muy grande, casi abarca el piso de la regadera completo. No hace charco aunque tape el desagüe. Muy recomendable.

Best bath mat I have purchased in a while, just needs a bit more suction to adhere to the tub. But I would buy again.

Works well for people with mobility or sight challenges.
