mixed feelings
I guess the operative phrase is, "you get what you pay for". The fit on this kit is often problematic. Getting the two sides of the fuselage together has been difficult. The instructions leave much to be desired. Overall a disappointing build, which i may not finish. I will certainly think twice before purchasing another kit from Trumpeter.

Very detailed by takes a lot of patience.
Incredibly detailed model. My only complaints is that the fit is not as good as some other brands (such as Tamiya), and that the engine is somewhat inaccurate (The cylinder rows are too far apart.). This is for experienced modelers only.

Trumpeter F6F Hellcat
The F6F was delivered before the expected date. I've found that Trumpeter always does a admirable job at producing detailed models. The Hellcat met that level of detail that Trumpeter is known for.
