This is my very first time using any form of resin. I used it to create 3D layered doodle art. It's crystal clear like glass, zero smell, virtually no bubbles, very easy to use. Says on the box that it takes 24 hrs to cure, but I was able to draw on mine with a paint pen 12hrs after pouring each layer. I used a plastic an A4 paper container box as a mould and it demoulded like a dream. I had no issues with it at all and will definitely buy from Craft Resin again next time b'n.Here's the thing though: I did a ton of research before getting into resin in general. There are many potential pitfalls when using resin and I've seen reviews of various resins where people complained it didn't cure properly. This could well be down to not reading up on how to mix the components properly (min 3 minutes stirring time, ensuring you scrape the sides of the container and the mixing stick 3 times at least during mixing etc), or adding the wrong kinds of things to the resin (specific resins need specific kinds of pigment colours etc as different chemicals can interrupt the reaction between the components etc). I can attest that this resin works very well so long as you read up about how to use resin in general and follow the very clear instructions provided in a pdf from Craft Resin when you buy. There are a couple of very good resin info websites out there I used when doing my research - one's called resin obsession, the other is called art resin. Good luck!

This was my first time ever using Epoxy Resin and I couldn't be more happy with the results!I've had the Ikea HEMNES desk for about 2 years and used various products to try protect the wood such as mouse pads and pvc sheets. However their durability wasn't the best and always ended-up having to buy another protection after a couple of months.If any of you are familiar with this type of desk, it can become easily dirty, chipped or stained. There isn't any glossy layer on it, it's just wood with paint so not meant to stay in pristine condition when used daily.Recently I was thinking about a more durable solution while still keeping the desk neat and tidy. I thought about a glass-top but the sound of putting plates of coffee cups on it would have driven me insane with time.I watched some Youtube videos with some people using epoxy resin but it looked really complicated and seemed to require some diy knowledge, which I don't.I was still determined to find a solution and came across this product which seemed more beginner-friendly. I spent some time going through the reviews, checking the instructions for best results and decided to give it a go.* This is how it went:- I put a protective sheet all around the desk (you absolutely need one if doing this at home!!) and mixed the resin and harder together 50/50 as instructed.- I mixed them together slowly for about 5 minutes and poured it straight on the desk. I then used a foam brush which I ordered based on what people were advising in the reviews to spread it on the desk.- And then that's it, all you need to do is wait.- I checked every couple of hours and it settles very quickly. This stuff is stronger than super glue so make sure you use gloves when checking if it's hard.- The dripping eventually stops after a couple of hours. It started settling after 6-12 hours and was fully settled/rock hard after 24 hours.As you can see from the pictures the results are pretty good - I was really happy and impressed by it.I did get a couple of tiny bubbles on the surface but you need to look close to see them and I'm really not bothered by it. I didn't even try to get rid of them with an air dryer or lighter because they're so small it's really not a big deal to me.My desk is 120 cm x 40 cm so 1 bottle of 1L did the job and gave me a layer of about 2-3mm. If you're working on a bigger surface you'll definitely need more.Overall I'm super happy with this product, it's exceeded my expectations and wasn't that hard to do. It does take a bit of preparation, I had to order the sheets and brushes especially for this job but it worked out the same price as getting a glass-top except that this looks and feels better!

I’m delighted with this resin. Great to work with it without issues and cured in 24 hours! Well worth the money spent! One of the best amongst the resins I used so far!

I have to admit.Bet epoxy i have used so far.I had zero waste on my 1st of 3 tables.Nice and thick so it didn't escape through the sealant I usedHad to add befor and after for you all to see

I can't rate this product highly enough it's awesome. So easy to use and if you follow instructions bubble free - stir slowly for 5 kins, by hand. If you use power stir leave it settle as that just adds bubbles. This is my 2nd order and ill be ordering more.Well packaged, pumps are really cool, I've not used them as I mostly weight my mix.Hobby, or small business I definitely recommend.Mixability 10/10Cured time 10/10Clear no bubbles 10/10 if following instructions.Value for Monday? Definitely

crystal clear, easy to use, hardens well in 24 hours with minimal bubbles, and no nasty smell. Perfect. I used single use cups to measure by drawing a line outside of cups (measured by volume, not weight as suggested, as A and B weighs different).
