I purchased this handheld meter to measure various wind speeds around my property for two reasons1. to measure wind spped and temp where my bee hives are located2. to obtain wind speeds for the best siting of a wind generator and get a feel for a range of min speeds

Great little device, i was initially Dubois about the larger fan as most I’ve used were much smaller but this is a far superior device in comparison 👍

First of all, I'd like to highlight how easy to use the product is. It is very user friendly and intuitive. You don't really need to read the instruction, if you know what to expect from the anemometer.To summarize that quickly:- Package comes with 2 batteries & soft shell case for the device - massive plus- Devices power up and react on the slight changes of the wind - tested both, on site and in the office environment and the ''control group''- devices are not heavy, easy to handle, with some rubber on side to allow stronger grip and no slipOverall experience - great - currently used by field engineers on the hoist so they can monitor the wind speed.

Product is well build and works perfectly but the attached instruction is rather difficult to understand. It is too short and does not fully explain how to use this device properly in full. For me this anemometer was also too big (see the photo), need somethink more portable so I decide to send it back. As long as you are familiar with all of the weather measurements and understand how to use this device to check air temperature or pressure you will be more than happy with your purchase.

Easy to use and read sturdy and comes with a nice case and small screwdriver to open battery compartment.
