Wish I bought years ago! So I bought this set as I needed a new paste brush and for that alone I was willing to pay the asking price, the rest was a just a bonus.. how I have wallpapered my whole life without the orange plastic tool, makes the job so much easier gets all the air bubbles and not needed paste out so your wall isn’t left looking sodden in an aim to make sure it’s wet enough or is that just me 🤷🏻‍♀️ Now here’s my favourite bit now it probably isn’t new and by far people have seen one before, not me lol, but it’s absolutely fantastic for someone who is clumsy with a sharp knife and nearly taken a couple of her fingers off many times (due to mobility issues) it’s great for cutting I have such a clumsy hand and it would rip and never be straight without this tool, it’s strong and sturdy, it’s doesn’t bend or move while cutting and it’s just a handy bit of kit to have. Would have paid the money alone for this tool. If you want a wallpapering kit for a fab price I’d grab one, I have an am, another to put away for next time round in about 10 years the way I’m feeling 😂 Would most definitely recommend.

This is a fabulous kit with everything you need to hang wallpaper. As someone who has not wallpapered before the items were easy to use and I am so pleased with the final results. TIP: make it even easier watch B&Q's YouTube videos if you've never done this before.

The little plastic thingy is great as others have said, really handy. However the brush was really shoddy quality - the handle fell off on the first use. Better off getting just the plastic tool and a separate brush and Stanley knife, especially as the husband had already used a spirit level to get the level so the plumb line wasn’t used. We used it on raised pattern wallpaper which a couple of people have said they’d be cautious about doing in case it was damaged, but can confirm it did not damage the pattern - really chuffed with the result

Handy medium 4 inch brush (100 x 30) ...less cumbersome than a fence brush. The plumb bob weight is plastic so not weighty which means it will jiggle more easily...the useable line is 9' (275mm) maximum so OK for most ceiling to floor but not for tall stairwells although a partial line should suffice to line up your paper. The plastic smoother is fine and fit for purpose. The trimming knife has a useful fin to crease paper without tearing it IF used carefully. Reasonable bundle of tools for the price.
