Very Effective
Kola Nut is best extracted with alcohol. This is not an alcohol free glycerite, so it has much more caffeine than a glycerite can have. Caffeine has poor solubility in glycerine. I've tried several Kola Nut glycerites and they are super weak. Not worth it. This tincture is really good. Quite potent, and has good classic cola flavor. I use it to make my own cola drinks, or as a coffee substitute added to juices. The effects are very different from coffee, even though they both have a lot of caffeine. Kola Nut is smoother, more pleasant, but not as jolting as coffee.

Really helps me get through the day. Taste is a bit sharp, but I don't mind it.

Do not buy!
If I could give this no stars I would. The product is thin as water and has no flavor whatsoever. I put 5 full droppers in one glass of water, and it had no taste. Absolutely not worth $30.00 not worth anything.

My best supplement for Interstitial Cystitis.
I take this extract - 3 drops, 3 times a day, to help with Interstitial Cystitis symptoms. I also take 2 capsules of Quercetin with Bromelain 2 to 3 times a day, but I think the Gotu Kola helps more than anything else, at least for me. Usually I get significant improvement in a matter of days, if I'm very consistent about taking them, as well as resting, avoiding stress, avoiding acidic foods and drinks, caffeine, black pepper, alcohol, and tight pants! I love Hawaii Pharm. Great prices on products, low or free shipping costs and very fast delivery.
