I purchased this to basically have lights and charge batteries in my shed. Overall the installation was pretty smooth. A few minor issues such as the instructions had washers for installation that weren't included in the Kit, also might have been nice to include an inline fuse, otherwise I had the two panels installed and running a few hours. I like the remote switch for the Inverter as well.

First off, I want to point out, this "kit" does not come in 1 huge box. (at least for me). It came in, across several days, 1 package a day for about a week. Cables were delivered by USPS, the inverter was delivered through FedEx and the solar panels were delivered by a 3rd party white-box delivery service. The charge controller was in the box with the solar panels.My wife and I were able to set the entire thing up over a dedicated afternoon. It took about 3-4 hours to get everything installed. The batteries were at half charge when they arrived (which is expected). All in all, I was very happy not only with the product but also the ease of installation. There is a little electrical work involved (you will need to crimp the cables with connectors that come with the kit. Just use standard pliers to crimp it). I did have to cut the end off of the wires that came with the inverter as they didn't fit into the charge controller (but you again just crimp the connectors to it that are included with the charge controller.). There are plenty of instructions for everything (charge controller, inverter and the panels all had manuals with good explanations and pictures of how everything connects). I would recommend it to anyone who asks about it.Again, I just want to point out, everything came at different times throughout the week. The tracking info you get from amazon will only be for 1 of the boxes. Expect to receive 5 packages in total across different days.

Great value for money I bought the one that came with the battery and it works great but I would of added a 3rd solar panel to the kit which I bought myself but whatever if your starting out with solar this is a great kit for limited use if you want better I’d go with a bigger wattage kit but to charge phones, laptops, and a fan and light this worked perfectly in our off grid cabin but the battery didn’t charge completely even with 3 panels it took days so do your self a favor and buy better solar panels eventually to charge the battery faster and in less time! Also fallow instructions! Do NOT CONNECT SOLAR PANELS FIRST TO CHARGE CONTROLLER

DO NOT ORDER AT ALL!!!! I ordered 2 kits, one I never opened and was going to send back. They only gave me one shipping label, so it was almost $300 to sent it back. The kit we did install will not power anything at all, can’t even plug a light into it. Absolute no customer service at all, and now I’m out $1,200. This company should get removed from Amazon.

The system worked perfectly fine but stopped working after a month. Contacted Eco-Worthy for help and the representative guided me through steps to figure out the issue. It was the inverter that was bad, and Eco-Worthy sent me a replacement quickly to resolve the problem. Highly recommended this company.

I purchased this set for my camper van. I use it to run a set of small LED lights, phone chargers, a camper vent, and a mini fridge at this time. One caveat: I run everything on DC power, I do not use the inverter. I live in the pacific northwest and go camping year-round.In the summer, this works amazing. With my setup, I cannot run the batteries out. During the day, they're charging more than I can use them. When they're fully charged, they're not going to run out overnight with my setup. I leave my camper van fridge on all summer as a beverage fridge, even when I'm not camping.In the winter, things are a little bit more dicey. If my batteries are fully charged, I can easily make it through a camping weekend, however, I do not use the vent fan in the winter. To get a full charge before I go, I need to have my fridge turned off for several days before I leave and only turn it on the morning before I go. The battery does wear down faster all weekend than it's charging back up, but the full charge plus small amount of recharge can push me through for a weekend.I do not believe this setup could work for someone living in a van full-time, unless you're living somewhere very sunny. Even in the summer, additional things might start to get to the point of draining on the battery too much. I'm considering trying out a super low watt coffee maker next summer, but I'll see what I can find.

Had high hopes. Was sent 2 smaller batteries instead of one pictured. Wanted to run some small lights and a fan in a pool house. If sun is not bright, backup batteries are useless. They won’t run a fan. If sun is on panels, everything runs fine. I have other very small panels to run outside lights and they run for days with low sun.Contacted support MULTIPLE times to see if it was the setup (I had it installed and then watched videos afterwards to make sure all was done properly, and support didn’t indicate that was an issue). I asked if it was the batteries and support has ignored me since and not provided any solution, so as with everything these days, you are on your own!

Bought this system to start off a solar powered trailer that we use for work.The system worked until it didn’t. The battery has failed and read as low as 2 volts.Getting support was a challenge and I ended up getting a new charge controller thinking it was at fault.Luckily, I ended up getting in contact with eco worthy via Amazon messages. They will be sending over a new battery and I will update the review until then.Update: everything works as intended now, o problems. Battery I received was a dud!I would recommend this set to anyone that starting out with solar.Only issue is I ended up replacing the charge controller as I thought that was the issue.
