These RGB strip lights come in 4x sets of 25ft spools that are joined to the power adapter by a 'Y' male/female connector that has a screw together coupling for weather resistance. The individual spools should make installation easier to measure-out versus if it was 1x large spool to manage while installing.The remote has several pre-sets for colors and each can be tweaked to 'mix' a color by selecting one of the R,G,B, buttons then selecting one of the color buttons below them. This uses the base color and sort of adds in the selected color. For example, if you wanted the closest color to a warm orange tone, I pressed the 'R' button then the yellow below that. Then you can adjust the results brighter or dimmer using the two buttons with the sun icon. (You can see this in the video around the 57 second mark.)I did run into an issue (also in the video) using the #2  music-mode buttons on the remote. Whereas the option #1 button puts the lights into a blending mode, it didn't really respond to the music. It kept the same pattern when the music stopped. And #2  music buttons actually just turned off my light set? I am not sure if that is by design or an issue with my set of lights or remote. The microphone that I assume picks up the audio is on the 'Y' connector near the plug, so if your music source is not close by, the audio does get heard I assume. I tested this by turning the music up loud and still the number 2 & 3 buttons did not respond to music. UPDATE NOTE: The App is required in order to change the input type for the music. Either phone mic or the External Mic on the lights. If you enable the External Mic option, you get 4 different music/light sync types. (See the last photo I added.)Overall, this is a good set of lights, even though I cannot comment on reliability, you do get 100ft of lights nicely separated in 25ft lengths. I would have liked to see an option to control the sections colors independently, but that is not possible. Finally, in order to configure additional colors not on the remote and also to take advantage of music modes you will definitely need the app for all the extra features.Final note that the company offers excellent customer service and was in contact with me when I ran into an issue with the audio sync and coordinate to resolve my issue in a professional and timely manner.

The media could not be loaded. UPDATE: BUYER BEWARE - I've had these lights up now for a little over a month and I'm very disappointed. The red portion of the RGB has faded. This means that red is now pink, yellow is now white and orange is now a bleached white. Extremely upset about this as I was looking forward to Christmas and was enjoying having the lights on orange for the fall. Tried to contact the company and never heard back at all so don't expect any customer service on their end if something goes wrong.Red portion of the lights has completely burnt out now, leaving me with very few color options which is very upsetting. I also don't leave these on all the time either, they only come on at night so I'm not quite sure as to what has been the problem with the quick burn out on the lights themselves.I bought these for my chicken coop to light it up and make it easier for me to see it from my house at night. Installation was super simple, connecting all the strands together was very simple as well. Was able to fully install the lights in about 30 mins. 100ft was perfect size to fit around the entirety of my chicken coop.I had fun playing around with the different color light settings and connection to my phone was wonderful, as it makes turning off and on the lights from the house simple and easy. The distance to turn off and on the lights and change the colors and the settings is about 10 feet, so I do have to be relatively close to the coop but can change the settings from my back porch.These haven't been up in any type of bad weather, will update after a while on the integrity of the lights. So far so good.

I purchased the Rxment 100 ft IP67 LED outdoor strip lights waterproof. I am a first time user of such a product. We are using the lights on our outdoor porch instead of the regular dock or porch lights, they look fantastic and bring a glow to the porch without seeing all the wires, etc. We love them. Easy to get the lights on, love the 25 foot extensions which must be easier than dealing with a 50 or 100 ft, easy to install (10 install clips come with them, I purchased additional clips to keep the strip tight, simply do not trust an adhesive), remote control works nicely as does the duoCo strip app. So many color and display options, incredible. Love them.As incredible as the lights are was the customer service. If you purchase, connect with Chris who answers all email questions same day. Since I was a rookie, before I started with the lights I asked a lot of questions, and he/she personally answered each one in a timely manner. Multiple messages. Get this, a human answering questions, not some computer spitting FAQ, web pages searches, etc.100% satisfied customer.

These LED strip lights are good value for your money. They work well and create great lighting atmosphere because of versatility of installing.

Good quality LED strip lights. I installed these lights along my back fence - 50 ft long run - and they work great. I purchased a 2nd set and installed them under the eaves of the front of my house, connecting 3 strands (75 feet). I'm a little disappointed with the brightness, but overall quality is solid. I would like to be instructed how to program a 'Red, White and Blue ' flashing mode for July 4th; i.e. under "Three Color Cross Fade" how do I program in Red, White and Blue?
