like sòimple things that go really fast...especidaļy if its got a gas motor to move it around..i love the smell of the nitro fuel smoke!! Its so cool!! Anyhoo, like i said i used to race once a month o so with the ground pownders ....i never really was very competitive..Not like some ppl⁷ out there....After a while tho.,,circumstances dictated that i needed to sell them cuz...well...life goes on....so i was out of it for quite a few years until today....now i got bitten by the nitro bug again....this buggy is really good quality build...the motor is really strong for chassis size and has no problem moving this little rocketship on wheels....there was no problems with vehicle out of the box,.i gott batteries and dumped some nitro into the tank and away i went....It sure brings back memories of the fun times me and my buddies had while racing im my back and yard on the little track we made for our rc10 gt and traxis nitro trucks....i was running a hotrodded os.12 motor and my buddy had a .15 traxis motor on his....well. im here to say that this .18 has way more power that either of those 2 motors ever had...Conclusion...i like the buggy a lot and am extremely happy with my purchase!! I recommend this to anybody without hesitation....its a durable and fun as hell toy!! The 2 speed tranny worx well and the 4 x 4 allows u to conquer even the toughest terrain and loose dirt like a champ!!....ground clearance being the only inhibiting factor.....only thing i didn't like was trying to put the batteries for the servos into the battery box along with the receiver and power switch into the small space it supposed to fit in...along with all the wires that has to get shoved in there too..and then still being able to screw cover back in lplace...its no ez task!! But that is the only downer...buy this toy Now!!

I just use it to have fun

My son was itching to get a nitro powered car. This price point made for a good starting spot. The car appears to be built well and runs good once started. We had a small issue getting it started the first time but have worked through it and adjusted the carb properly. Now it starts without much trouble and runs well. This thing is faster than expected and a heck of a lot of fun to drive. It came with everything needed to get it running except fuel.

Ok first off I no it’s a low end car for the price that’s what you should expect but the body shell don’t fit all all one hole matched up so I’ll have to cut it to fit let’s see what else all yes the Phillips head screws suck come on guys Allen’s aren’t that much more I’m sure and stop making everything so it screws into plastic come up with something else cause 45% of the screws that are on the car are stripped and the throttle linkage was all kinds of messed up the way it came would kill the motor when breaking (throttle set adel screw had to be set correctly) after I fixed the linkage that was totally wrong and the set is are junk I got better servos from a 100$ rc than theses that’s in the car you sell tires junk battery box what a joke lol you should think of a new way to hide the battery’s shocks junk lose screws in the hole car pretty much before I ran it idk guys there’s a lot more I can b**^h about but guys don’t get this car even for a beginner just pay the extra 100$ or 50$ and get a real hpi and not this china knock off junk a** roller pretty much lol

As I said above the engine is extremely hard to start. The first pull to start the engine broke the recoil spring. I bought a new starter for it so I could use my drill because of the hard start I broke that one to. I did get it started and it worked fine from that point. Wondering if I should just get a new engine for it.

For the price you get a nice starter kit for nitro beginners. Good overall quality for the price. I would highly recommend an electric starter because the pull start broke on the first startup (common even on high end nitros) besides that I have no complaints.

Great car for the value but over heats and hard to pull start. Over all great starter car!
