Different presentation pack to Amazon photo
Daler Rowney's new presentation for this product is a slimline pack and not the square presentation pack shown in the Amazon photo. The new pack is not as sturdy and is more susceptible to wear and tear. The gouache paints are however of the usual quality.

Brilliant starter set
This paint behaves so well compared to other brands I have seen on youtube. It is very easy to get a thick coating and not streaky unless too diluted. I use it set into a palette which only cracks after several weeks - I am trying to reduce this with gum arabic now. I rehydrate them with a small spray bottle and they behave very well.The only cons are the lack of greens and the size of black/white - we have a purple which is unusual to me, and no useful green, and with gouache you get through a lot of white so I need a bigger tube for that.

I won’t use any other gouache. This has a great consistency & coverage.
