Very impressed with this product and recommend them highly.I bought 3 of these. Good simple solid construction, no loose or broken parts. I particularly liked the "insulated & sealed wiring crimps" that the manufacturer has used inside to bring the wiring from the 4 lamp units together (you don't need to touch these, but they are indicative of a good construction). The chrome finish is bright and hard. And, consistantly smooth across the 3 units that I received. Also the main plate has slightly rounded edges and corners, as do the lamp holders, so there are no nasty sharp edges.The packaging was robust (3 layer cardboard), with a cardboard former inside to hold the unit, and yet another cardboard former around the 4 individualy boxed lamps. And because of the bulbs, the outside of each package was clearly labled "FRAGILE" in large lettering.Fitting is very simple, about 10 mins. Ceiling bracket, screws and fittings are all supplied (under wifely supervision, it took me longer to clean my fingure marks from the bright chrome finish than it did to fit each unit).Well done "The Light Factory", an excellent product at a good price

I can highly recommend this item. It arrived well packed, on time, and exactly as described. It is a beautiful fitting and looks stunning in my bathroom. The reflective plate really does amplify the light.I bought it for my en suit bathroom, as the single inset fitting I had was very dull. There was no window in the room, so I was dependent entirely on lighting. Needless to say with only a flush inset fitting, the room looked rather like a dungeon even with the lights on. This meant I couldn't use the room to put my makeup on, as could barely make myself out in the mirror.I had an electrician do the fitting, as I had one visiting to do several jobs at once. It took him a mere 5 minutes.The only thing I would comment on is that the bulbs that come with the light are very 'yellow' in colour, so I didn't get the clear white light I wanted for my bathroom. I simply purchased some 'GU10 5W LED Super Bright PURE WHITE 50w halogen bulbs', which are perfectly compatible with this fitting, and....well it's like an entirely new room now, I love it! I can emerge from my en suit bathroom with perfect hair and makeup :)

I fitted two of these lights recently; one at each end of a kitchen-dining room and they do the job very well. I fitted GU10 LED bulbs, 5.2W, 345lm in all 8 positions, using warm-white (2700K) in the dining-room and cool-white (4000K) in the kitchen, which gave a good, bright, even light coverage, with a slightly softer appearance for the dining-room. The square base design means there is plenty of space underneath for connecting the power cables and terminal blocks, especially when there are multiple cables. I found this worked well and the units were easy to fix to the ceiling (with two screws holding the bracket).The only downside that I would mention is that the black chrome surface is incredibly susceptible to fingermarks - and they are a devil to fully remove. I learned this to my cost on the first unit, so I tried as best as I could to do the assembly with the plastic bag still in place (until secured to the ceiling). Basically - avoid touching the surfaces. Other than that, an excellent, stylish light, easy to fit and good value for money.

We had refurbished our bathroom, which isn't exactly huge. The existing ceiling light had been fitted with, what I call, a 'proper' light bulb not an energy one. We bought a new ceiling light fitting with a dome shape cover and required just one energy bulb. It was pathetic and didn't light to the other side of the bathroom.We replaced it with this one and it is great. It looks very smart and finishes off the bathroom lovely and with the 4 GU10 Halogen bulbs in the whole bathroom is lit up. I would recommend this light to anyone.Maybe you could fit it yourself but we don't know anything about electrics so we got an electrician in and it only took him 10 minutes.

Look good out of the box and on the ceiling. Until you have to remove a bulb!Connections inside seem weak. My contractor rewired it for me and does look good. Concerned when the next bulb goes and I have to take it out.

Great spread of light, as you can adjust to where you want the light focused.Installed in my kitchen and haven't had to clean it yet, i.e., no grime has built up after a month, so seems to be resistant well enough in that sense.
