When you register this item make sure you use the password on the back of the unit and not the password you raise during registration for your profile . Otherwise it will state serial number not recognised. Very Good product , easy to use and diagnose problems .

First time i used it the scanner brought up a P0101 error code. Which is related to a faulty MAF sensor. Problem is my Fiat Punto 1.4 petrol does NOT have a MAF sensor. I also tried to reset the oil service milage counter but the scanner would not do this. And this was the main reason i spent £199 buying it for. Therefore, i have just wasted £199 on a device that is not fit for the purpose is was bought for.Also, it is NOT compatible with Apple iMac computers so i had to borrow a friend's laptop PC in order to register and update the device.PS Just had a look at the SD card it came with and it appears there are other car's data on it. This means i have been sent a previously used/second hand scanner. Not happy. Unit being returned to Amazon for refund. I have just ordered an Automotive Scanner Launch CR8011 scanner instead. Hopefully this will prove to be a better device. And not second hand.

Had the Foxwell NT 414 for a while now and I have used it on 4 or 5 Cars. Basically it is a basic OBD2 Tool that does most things Engine /Powertrain, A.B.S, SRS (Airbags), Oil light Reset, Brakes (E.P.S)If you want the Fancy Graphics then buy another Brand. The only complaint I have so far is that the CD that comes with the Unit (Not Nomad) LoL. Well, it rubs in the Computer DVD Drive…!I contacted Foxwell for a replacement CD but I was told, I would have to download the link from their website for the CD Features.As they no longer do the CDS. This is probably true as CD/DVD Drives are being Fazed out on Computers but I am still not Happy.Having said that it does the Features Outlined in this Script and it does them Well..!!!Also i have had (3) Different OBD 2 Tools and this is the best on for Updates, (You get about 30 every couple of Months) I say Buy it and Annoy your Mardy Monsters and Vians…! Amen

What an amazing product this is. With garages charging between £75 and £100 to run diagnosis on a car and some the same again to reset faults simply diy. This is a must have for any car enthusiast as it saves time and money. I had a problem with my abs and this pinpointed the faulty sensor within a few minutes. Sensor changed error code reset and off again. Only had it for a week but have serviced my dad's 2010 astra 1.7 diesel and was able to reset the oil and service lamp also used on 3 friends cars pinpointing an egr fault an electronic handbrake fault and a faulty glow plugs. SORRY LOCAL GARAGE YOUR LOCAL DIAGNOSTIC AND RESET SERVICES ARE NO LONGER REQUIRED. Clear simple operation that my 9yr old can do as I say a must for all as most jobs are very simple to fix but without this very hard to pinpoint.

Had high hopes for this device. Unfortunately, despite being updated to the latest OS, wouldn't communicate with either my 2002 Volvo S80 2.4 Petrol Automatic or my sister-in-law's 2003 Peugeot 1.6 Petrol (Communication failure)Worked ok on my Son's 2015 Vauxhall Corsa Turbo Petrol though - There's no faults on this one though!Returned device and was refunded quickly though thank to CS.

Worked perfectly on my 2003 Peugeot 206 2.0 HDI. Really easy to use and diagnosed my ABS warning light as a faulty ABS ECU/pump unit in seconds.

if you are thinking about buying a scanner this is the one ,well made and very comprehensive easy to use.just go for it
