The item was what I expected. Very easy to install and use. I just love it!

This is surely one of the best energy monitors for keeping an eye on electricity usage. There's a phone app to show the electricity consumption at this moment. It takes 30 seconds or less to see the effect of using a fan heater or turning on the bank of lights in say, a kitchen. And you can also see that yesterday's electricity cost say, £3 and the last week's cost £20. The web 'browser' app does even more. It offers various ways to display data. Its excellent graphing feature pretty much answers most of your questions about what's been used. The data can be downloaded into Excel though you're on your own to make sense of this.Within weeks of using the Owl I was pretty much on my way to saving enough to pay for it. For example, I discovered I'd left an immersion heater running continuously so I replaced a broken timer; and the halogen lights in the kitchen were swapped for lamps that used a tenth of 500W. My always on 30W desk lamp was changed to a 2W LED. And so on. There were many examples that really helped one's energy awareness.While this 3-phase version can be used in a commercial 3-phase setting, it can also be used to monitor three separate feeds (eg from different outbuildings) into the meter.The thing that loses this a star is the obfuscating way each component is labelled and documented in the product catalogue. Overall it feels like an engineer has done the marketing when such people should focus their skills on development. So I'll bet they lost sales as a result of such poor explanations of what this great product does. However I'm impressed with how well this works, how the unit updates itself and how (over a few years now) it continues to deliver information I've acted on and saved money with.

But software for 3 phase monitoring not on same level as for one phase monitoring! I hope for future upgrade of SW.

Do not buy any product from this company, its fidely to get all the transmitters working, it complains batteries are dead when they have just been replaced. customer support team are rude, patronising and have no clue about customer care/retention. If I could leave minus points it would be minus 5

Brilliant bit of equipment. I fitted it to a holiday villa in Portugal, took 10 minutes to install.. 5 of which were probably extreme care in going anywhere near 25-year old Portugese 3-phase mains supply wiring(!). Works extremely well and seems very accurate even down to fairly low wattages. It's already managed to identify 0.25KWh wastage running 24/7 and 0.25kWh running for about 4 hours a day , which means it will probably pay for itself in 3 months at most.Standard induction measuring clamps will cater for mains cables up to ~8mm dia or so after which you might want to consider the large clamp version..but that's probably going to be for a small business rather than a domestic property. The app is pretty much a simple and restricted interface on to the Web management console but it's handy for for quick portable readings.The Web interface lets you generate and download detailed graphs for each phase for days, weeks and even months. They could do with a few additions to the app, like alerts for over-consumption (say you left high consumption heaters of whatever on) but in general it's a very well thought out system and has so far been completely reliable.

I don't rate it with five stars because I couldn't yet test it completely, but until now I can say that it is working as expected. A very important point is that I had some problems pairing the gadgets, due to wrong instructions in the manual, but I sent a message to owl support and I was responded really really fast and efficiently, which gives quite a lot of confidence.Good purchase.

it can show you live your electricity consumption and you can figure out what you forgot open in order to switch it off. you can safe money but careful because sometimes it becomes addicted seeing the consumption all the time.
