Lightweight, economical design offers versatile usage. Use to create pens, protect plants and prevent soil erosion. Durable, stainless steel construction resists rust. 22 gauge hex mesh 48" x 150' x 1" hole. Review: QUALITY TRULY-STAINLESS CHICKEN WIRE FOR AN OUTDOOR AVIARY - I am a fairly vigilant parrot owner in the Monterey area (California). First of all, that galvanized chicken wire are hardware stores is TOXIC for your parrot - who will surely climb all over the chicken wire. THIS particular chicken wire is essentially medical grade stainless steel (NOT coated with zinc). It is a wonderful product. My parrots climb all over it, and I don't have to worry. Monterey is very close to the ocean, and metal rusts quickly. HOWEVER, this chicken wire has shown NO signs of rust or oxidation after 1 year. Review: Easy to work with, will last a long time - This chicken wire is easier to work with than standard chicken wire. It is more flexible and does not scratch and stab your hands. It is more expensive, since it is stainless steel, but I know that I won't have to replace it for a very long time, maybe never.

Nice but a little lighter than expected
This wire is great, just a little lighter than what I expected having used so much galvanized over several decades.

It is more expensive but will last forever.
It is really good chicken wire. It will be nice to not have to replace it in ten years like I have had to with the galvanized stuff.

Hard to Find; Well Worth the Money
It's very difficult to find good quality stainless steel chicken wire fencing. The galvanized netting I've used in the past is of uneven quality, rusts quickly and requires periodic replacement, which needlessly consumes time and money. So glad I found this. Unless one lives in arid climates and can avoid rust/deterioration (which renders fencing worthless) or doesn't mind regularly renewing rusted out galvanized netting/fencing, spend a little more up front and get this (thereby saving money and maintaining peace of mind in the long run.)

Great Stuff!
Great stuff. High quality, shiny stainless steel and attractive. Light weight but strong, I bought this because the warning about lead in corrugated chicken wire scared me off. I was not disappointed. I will never go back to corrugated. One reviewer said the wire is extra sharp where you cut it, but from my experience, the cut ends are not as sharp as corrugated wire. Glad I found this product. Well done. Thanks!
