Excellent for oily skin
Excellent cleanser for slightly oily/oily skin. Scent is pleasant. Product gently exfoliates and leaves skin thoroughly clean with a slight tingling sensation.

Great cleaner for oily skin, needs careful application however
This mask left my skin extremely clean and tight feeling, which takes quite a bit since I have fairly oily skin with large pores and I really like this product after a standard cleaner and toner but before serum. Proper use will remove most impurities and give a great clean feeling, however it dries even my skin out so moisturizing is essential afterwards (though really you should be doing that every time regardless). The only negative note, is that the one time I got this in my eyebrows removal was actually pretty difficult and I broke out with some nasty painful acne right on my eyebrows. Not very visible but they hurt quite a bit.

Good for your face, bad for your plumbing
I use an exfoliating cleanser every morning before moisturizing my face. I bought this product after searching the shelves for a gentle exfoliating cleanser that does not contain plastic microbeads. Since reading about how these microbeads end up in our lakes and rivers and endanger aquatic life, I have tried to avoid them. This product is one of only two I've found that do not contain the beads. The clay cleanser was great for my skin and did a good job of gently exfoliating. I used it every day as directed, and was happy with the results. But when I used it, the red clay would stain my marble sink, and little globs of it would be left behind by the rinse water and stick to the sink. I could only remove them with a cleaner and scrubber. After about two months of using this product daily, the sink began to back up, and eventually, it would take all day to drain from a single use. Finally, it simply would not drain at all. I used my trusty baking soda and vinegar method, which usually unplugs a sink after a few tries. It foamed up as usual, but did nothing to unplug the sink. My husband used Liquid Plumber and plunged repeatedly, but absolutely nothing worked. We began to think there was something solid, way down in the pipes, but I was not missing any bottle caps, etc. that could explain it. Finally, with one huge plunge that splashed water all over the bathroom, my husband got whatever was blocking the sink to break up. We realized that I had been putting clay down the drain every day for months. My conclusion is that the clay eventually formed a hard, solid mass in the pipes, which not even Liquid Plumber could penetrate. When it did break clear, it went in one big whoosh. When you think about it, does it really make sense to put clay down your drain, day-after-day? Is this something a plumber would tell you is OK? I doubt it. There are many clay face cleansers on the market. Perhaps this brand contains more clay than others, or is a different kind of clay, but it is certainly the first and last time I will use a clay facial cleanser of any kind on a regular basis.
