Night and day difference, literally! I got these lights to liven up our garage as we recently got our garage floor done, and these really make the whole room shine! These lights are a huge upgrade from the builder quality soft white led light bar that was above the washer and dryer. These bad boys bring a lot of curb appeal as well as functionality while working on things in the garage. I got two kits of 5 hexagons and played around with a few layouts before finally settling on a symmetrical setup centered around my garage opener that wasn't blocked by my garage door when opened. These are still plenty bright to lighten up my garage all the way up to the door when closed. All the lights I received worked straight out the box, and all but a handful (maybe 5) didn't have a protective fill on the segments. I have 4 bars, 1 'y' connector and several elbows leftover which I can use as replacement parts later on.Setting the lights up took about 3 hours solo, with the the included drywall anchors and hardwire hookup. I used a laser level in the center of my garage to keep everything in line and branched out from there. The key is to line up each segment with a connector, mark it, then drill your hole. There's a little bit of wiggle room to make minor adjustments at each connection so I suggest connecting 2-3 segments of a hexagon at a time before committing to mounting each elbow or Y connector.Truly satisfied with this upgrade to my garage as the price was great (while on sale) and I hope it lasts for as many hours as the description says. For now I haven't noticed any heat generating from the lights as they are cool to the touch, but I'll take a heat thermometer to them later on to test if there's any noticeable changes..The only thing left to do is install a ceiling box for the hardwire connection and patch the old fixture hole.

i dont have enough nice things to say about these.like some other reviewers i was skeptical of all the positive reviews but i knew i could always send it back for free.i have a 2 car garage and only 1 bay has lighting. i had 4x 4ft LED shop lights there. i thought they were pretty good but wanted to try hex lights for a while...im glad i did. this easily put out 2x the amount of light of those shop lights did and they produce almost no shadows!

The product is as advertised. Although our space doesn’t have a ceiling with a hard surface, the install was still relatively easy. It just took longer only having beams.I had a question and issue about a couple of the connectors. Since we couldn’t follow the suggested layout, we ended up using more of one type of connector. I contacted the company via the email address on the card inside the box and they responded pet quickly and had replacement connectors sent out. Great communication and customer service.If there was one “improve” I’d suggest the lights and the connection points should “click” into place.

Should have upgraded our garage lighting to this hexagonal LEDs long time ago. Literally night and day difference. Our garage is so bright now at night for projects. Basically just plug (to AC outlet) and play as this is very easy to install on ceiling or wall. Don't know how long these LED tubes last and would buy a color (RGB) version (AC voltage) (most RGB versions are low volage and require small transformer). Pictures show incomplete job (still need to install the rest of the LED tubes and tidy up the power cord). Thanks

These lights came with a plan — literally. Easy to assemble, easy to mount, and they connect right into a standard setup or a plug option! Looks like a futuristic training lab when you flip the switch. High impact, low effort install. You can organize them however you like and even buy more to add on. I love them and so far all our guests do!

These lights are super bright! I put them up in my gym room and I could perform surgery in there now it’s so bright. Shapes are a bit limited due to the number of pieces but there are a few options. I used a heat gun to bend one of the sticks and run it down the wall which turned out pretty cool. Use caution if you do that.

Fairly simple install. They only provide enough connectors to install the advertised way, do not try customizing the install. I learned that the hard way. The plug used to hardwire is a little short so keep that in mind if you’re running a dedicated switch like I did. I was able to install a junction box directly above the lights and it still barely reached. For the good, these are EXTREMELY bright. EXTREMELY. The connectors are also nicer than others I’ve seen, I don’t feel like I’ll have any lights coming loose from these over time. They’ve only been up for a day so I will update over time if there’s issues.

I went back and read some of the reviews after I ordered this item and I started to think they were fake. Everyone was really happy and it did not make sense considering the process is much lower than similar units.When it arrived, it was packaged nicely. Make sure you plan it out before installing it… but a pretty easy install. A little double sided tape is helpful if you are flying solo. .Very happy with the look and the purchase. And like said by many, it changes the entire room. It is in my golf simulator/bourbon barn and I love it.Highly recommended.
