This is the first conditioner I’ve tried since learning through allergy testing that I’m allergic to linalool and other common chemicals. I was a bit hesitant switching from the scented products I’ve used my whole life, but this conditioner has completely won me over! It arrived perfectly packaged — sealed both internally and externally, with brown paper padding the box. There was no leaking or damage in transit, and the product itself has absolutely no scent. Despite being fragrance-free and minimal in ingredients, it performs beautifully. A small amount goes a long way — it leaves my hair soft, hydrated, and easy to comb through with minimal shedding. My hair stays moisturized and smooth for the 1–2 days between washes, which is more than I expected from such a simple formula. I honestly love this conditioner so much that I can see myself continuing to use it even if I’m ever able to reintroduce scented products into my routine. If your hair tends to be extremely dry or coarse, you might want to follow up with a richer mask or leave-in treatment. On my hair, it’s perfect as a regular rinse-out conditioner, but heavier textures could use more moisture. I am a person that prefers a scented product but ill sacrifice that for a good result. This stuff is great. It really does moisturize the hair without being too heavy. I love the ordinary so im happy. I've seen some people say this product is too thin but I do not get that at all

This seems like a nice thick conditioner, but it really doesn’t do anything to help with detangling post shower, nor softening my hair very much. I still have to use a lot of detangling product afterwards. I like that it doesn’t have any smell, but maybe they could bump up some of the detangling ingredients in the formula.

I’m so happy my dermatologist suggested The Ordinary. I’m using the shampoo too. My hair feels just as nice as when I was using that great smelling high end salon brand but now I don’t have topic dermatitis and an itchy scalp. It works well but has no smell (I’m allergic to scents and some othering agents) and seems to be copacetic with my skin.

I have contact allergies and have been using Paula’s Choice since my diagnosis in 2016. Tragically, Paula’s Choice has been discontinued. I tried every other conditioner on my SkinSafe “safe for me” list and they all either left my hair dry and tangled, weighed down, or made my face red. I’m allergic to vitamin E and fragrance including botanicals so my options are very limited. I was so happy to see a new product on my safe list and by the Ordinary, no less, a brand I actual recognize. This one is a winner. It leaves my hair smooth and moisturized but not weighed down. I can comb it easily and it has shine and volume. My fine, chemically treated, wavy/curly hair loves this stuff and so do I because it hasn’t caused any adverse reactions. I’ve used it three months now and don’t even miss my old conditioner. A little goes a long way so the price is fair.

This company is AMAZING. Everything I have tried is EXCEPTIONAL. It is research based BASIC cosmetics that really change things. This conditioner (use only once) but it has made my fly aways, calm down and the rest of my hair SHINE like it did when I was 17... Seriously. People notice.
