Analog 12 Channel in 3 Rack Spaces
The good, the bad, the ugly... The Good, it's a 3 rack space 12 channel mixer with 8 XLR (ea. w inserts and alt 1/4 " mono inputs), it has built in EFX, has XLR Main outs, has balanced Control Room outs, has dedicated Monitor out plus associated front dials/chan, Aux I/O plus front dials/chan, FX/out, and stereo RCA Record out plus stereo RCA input and has Phantom power switch. Front of mixer also has volume faders not dials per channel and main, gain for ea. channel, headphone jack with volume dial (same volume dial for Control Room out). The Bad, it has only 2 band Hi & Low for channel EQ. There's no foot switch on/off for EFX, no solo, no mute, no PFL, no Low Pass buttons, no compressors. This model has no improvements at all in the last 12 years or more which is unfortunate. The Ugly, it's only a matter of time before an input or output will fail. On mine the channel 1 & 2 XLR inputs failed, luckily I still could use the 1/4" inputs there. The Monitor out failed and for that their's no substitute except using the FX out, worked but even though, instead it made individual use of EFX on channels not possible. I looked inside the PCB is so packed there's no way to replace individual components (ie XLR or 1/4" jacks as they are proprietary just try to find or even ID these parts, and not available, plus the soldering iron can't fit to repair anyway). These are like old Bic lighters when they start to fail you throw them away and just buy another I guess. Too bad because they are pretty useful (fit in so small a space, and if Behringer made a couple of much needed updates, this thing would smoke the competition in this category). I gave it a somewhat high rating because it's useful in certain situations and is pretty inexpensive (cheap). The newer digital mixers with the same rack footprint, like the X32 Rack, will blow this away in every conceivable way but are also 6 times more expensive. So you tradeoff a lot to use this very cheap 3 space mixer and it's mostly okay for those of us with more time on their hands than money in their pockets. I'd rather have the X32 Rack hands down, this one will do in a pinch to save $$ and get the job done sort of okay.

Unreliable
I have on this unit for a few years, from the get-go it was noisy, and now the LEDs won’t turn off the Master slider. I have to move it up and down several times because only one channel works. Tried spraying it I don’t know how this got four stars with no reviews, except for mine. I would rethink this one if you’re thinking of purchasing it or do a lot more investigating about it.
