I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this rug. I wasn't sure if I would like it when I saw close up images but it actually looks very nice in person, and the colors are more neutral than I thought. The border is very even all the way around, and the rug is indeed soft under bare feet. Even my cat took to it almost immediately. He does like the (expensive) shag rug, but this rug is probably cooler to lie on. I'm very happy with it, and it was so affordable!

I was looking for something that’s easy to clean, washable, kid friendly as we have a toddler, a great match for our existence carpet and a great fit for our high traffic 8x5 area. Searching for a 8x5 area carpet that goes well with our existence carpet's was a bit of work & glad to have found this carpet that ticks all the box for me!! Shipping was fast as well. It came in a small box cos the carpet was folded. Being folded wasnt a problem for me cos in time it will spread perfectly on the floor. Overall very happy customer!

After my husband measured carefully & aligned the runner so edges were straight he stapled it between the tread & the riser. The multi color of the runner is nice as it hides dirt. The runner looks beautiful on our stairs. The only negative is our two big dogs have snagged the runner with their claws. Pet owners may have 2nd thoughts about purchasing because of this.

I was looking for a specific type and color rug for our rec room. After price shopping, I was pleased to find this one at a good price for the size. Aside from the black edge being a little "curled" after unrolling, this rug arrived in great shape. I left some objects on the rug overnight to help flatten the curled edges and by the next morning, the rug was flat. I also woke two days later to find mud like stains on the rug and to my amazement, they washed out easily with warm water and dish detergent. The rug is not real sisal, nor does it claim to be. It is a nice texture, softer than sisal, and the gray color is true to the photo. We're using the rug under a pool table, so slipping is not an issue. I'm very happy with this purchase and the ease in which I am able to clean it is impressive.

My original review is below. I have updated it and changed my rating from 3 stars to 1. The problem with unraveling continues and gets worse. More pulls have appeared and they are now unraveling over time. There are also growing fuzzy patches showing up. I use a brand new Shark Navigator vacuum which is meant for this type of cleaning, so it isn't my vacuum causing these issuesI don't normally write reviews. This rug is really great looking and comfortable and a good value overall. The one issue is that it "pulls" as though it is unravelling in places. It also goes fuzzy on the surface in places. I cut off the "pulls" and the fuzz at the surface of the pile and this seems to be okay. I think the reason this is okay is because the rug is not actually woven but glued to its backing? I don't have kids or cats but I do have two (non-destructive) dogs. Maybe the dog's nails are causing the "pulls" but that means the rug isn't as durable as one would hope. The dogs are the reason I bought this rug instead of a "real" one! I wonder if anyone else is having this problem? I didn't see it mentioned in other reviews so I thought I should share my experience.

I love these synthetic Sisal rugs they are beautiful and soft. I bought these for my entrance and hall and I am so happy with these purchase that I just ordered another rug for my room 5x8 grey. I ordered about 2 years ago the real sisal rug 7x9 for my dinning room and I still have it. It's still beautiful under the table but it is rough on the feet. If I were to choose between the real and synthetic, I would buy synthetic so I have just ordered another rug 5x8 grey for my room. I thank those whom have left their reviews for it helped me decide to purchase these rugs. I would leave a picture but sorry I don't know how to do it.

Pros:1) softer than natural sisal rugs2) inexpensiveCons:1) Touted as "synthetic sisal" - doesn't look anything like a natural fiber rug, like other brands do.2) As described, rug arrived folded (dumb!), but UNLIKE description, fold creases remain after several weeks which gives it a cheap look.3) Color not as pictured. Outside trim is the color of Hershey's cocoa.4) After 6-9 months, fuzzy/pulled areas showed up even though rug does not have high traffic or use. At 12 months, I'm replacing.Would not buy again. Next time will spend the money for a quality synthetic sisal.However, if you need an inexpensive washable rug for playroom/playhouse, craft room etc., this might work.

I bought a sisal rug for my living room and everyone in the house complained about it hurting their feet. So I researched for a rug that looked sisal but was soft and I found this rug. The price is very affordable for the size I got 6x8. It is very soft on our feet. It isn't real thin nor is it real thick. My son spilled some soda on it already and it cleaned up nicely leaving no water rings or stains. The only negative I have is it appears to pick easily. I have 2 cats with only back claws so they can't scratch things like typical cats can with their front claws. The first night I noticed a thread was picked and puffed out after the cat ran across the rug. Over the past few days I see more snags and puffed out fabric spots. I am just going to live with it, I am afraid to try to trim those spots and make it unravel or have a bald spot. This is the first time I have ever had a rug pick from a cat claw. :(

It’s fantastic for a sisal carpet at this price point. Soft underfoot. Not scratchy. Any spill wipes up super easily. 10 out of 10 recommend.

This item arrived quickly and was packaged well. I was not disappointed. It looked just as the pictures showed. It was what iIwanted. It is great for my space.

This rug is good. Obviously, the manufacturer must have read Amazon reviews because the rug came rolled, not folded, as indicated by other reviewers. There was one crease which disappeared after about a week. The rug feels comfortable, has nice texture, its colour is neutral yet nice. Sure, it is not a "top notch" rug, but it still gets a solid four-star rating.

Good firm feel of the rug, seems sturdy and size is accurate. Hopefully it will last. Looks minimalist!
