How much clearance is there between the pusher and the blades (ie; how much food is left in the tube when before it's too small to shred)?

I’ve really only used mine for grating cheese and it works great!!! The plunger seems to push the cheese all the way through! When I take the blade off, there’s a small slice of cheese that gets stuck between the side and the blade and I call that chefs snack😊

Can this product slice tomatoes?

I have not attempted to have tomatoes sliced with the attachment unit, which I specifically purchased to grate cheese with my Kitchenaid mixer to supplement the food processor plastic vs. stainless steel. I could say the feeder chute is less than 2 inches in diameter; tomatoes depends on the size of tomato to slice to fit without specifications of feeder or unit posted, and try for yourself. Kingeagle is the maker: very sturdy, but limited to its size.

Why does it keep detaching from the kitchenaid? The screw is tight but after a couple seconds of use it detaches

I returned item sue to feeder tube being so small. Wouldn’t accommodate veggies I wanted to shred.

Can this grind meat for sandwich spreads

Have nor used to grind meats. Use it a lot to grate cheese, carrots. I only use one of the attachments for everything.
