These were exact fit for the door. Instalation was not difficult if you have a rivet gun and know how to use it. They we a fraction the cost and higher quality then the OEM ones that were removed. They functioned perfect. Nice finish that will hold up for years.

I had replaced the same door handle on the driver's door of my 2004 Ranger 5 years ago. It was plastic so I have high hopes this metal one will out last that one. It was a snap and went right on and Its working great. Hope this will be the last but will order again from these people because the handle seemed better made.

Great upgrade from the plastic 2004 Ranger tailgate handle. Even the parts store replacement is plastic. Easy to install. Great finish. Ease of opening. Great upgraded product. Must have item.

I finally got around to replacing the sun-damaged, brittle plastic door handles on my 1998 Ford Ranger, and these were the perfect solution. The old ones were starting to snap, and I love that these are all metal they feel so much more durable. Installation was straightforward, and they fit my truck perfectly. I'm confident these will last a very long time. They're an awesome upgrade and a definite improvement over the original plastic ones.

These handles are all metal where they need to be. Easy install and work and look great. Definitely stronger than stock. I would order them again.

My driver side door handle broke off randomly last week. I installed this one and it fits perfectly, and its metal which is a plus. Pretty sure the OEM one is a plastic material which is why it broke to begin with… When replacing, I had to drill out the rivets, to get the regular door handle removed. Kind of a pain, but only took 10 minutes. OP With the new door handle I did not use rivets, I just used 1/4 diameter machine screws that were 3/4 inch in length, along with a 1/4 diameter washer and 1/4 diameter locking nut, which worked great! Did also want to mention that even after installing it and it works, the door handle for some reason does have a slight feeling of flimsiness to it… I don’t know how to explain it, its one of those things where you just have try it for yourself. Although, it’s definitely better than before it broke, so maybe thats just how this trucks door handle felt back when the truck was new in 2009? lol Either way, I would recommend this project if your looking for a more affordable alternative to the $60+ OEM. I did purchase the 3 pack that comes with the driver, passenger, and tailgate handles just to have them on hand for when those decide break off as well.

Great Quality , well designed , installs easily . Would definitely recommend this tailgate handle to anyone needing one. Could've bought a cheap plastic replacement but , didn't want to have to replace again a year or so later . Was also well packed for shipping . Good Job !
