This is a much better solution for completing a large drywall patch repair than running multiple strips of narrow drywall tape. Surface is smoother, and its larger width results in fewer or no ridges, as compared to running multiple adjoining strips of more narrow tape. Product material is a mesh and is both strong and sticks to drywall. Great solution. Drywall mud sticks to it with no problem.

We just purchased an old 1940s house and found several of the old plaster ceilings cracked. Someone had tried to cover them with a latex paint but the cracks reappeared.The Red Devil Fiber Mesh was easy to work with, after cleaning the areas around the cracks, the Fiber Mesh stayed on even though the ceiling have a texture to them.Covering wasn’t too bad, but I do have to apply a 2nd or even 3rd coat due to the texture of the ceiling and previous attempts to repair cracks.Even letting the Fiber Mesh alone for over a week, the mesh stays in place.Overall, the Red Devil Fiber Mesh has worked great for my situation and I do recommend it.

This is a perfect product to help patch small holes in the wall. As somebody who is not very handy when it comes to home improvements this was very easy for me to use. Will definitely buy again if I ever run out.

Used this to patch holes in my walls. It stuck ok. It could have been better with stickiness but this was my first time patching holes and it turned out well. There was a little movement but once you get the spackle on it there were really no issues. Some of the holes I patched were pretty large and this worked great to cover them and allow holes to be covered over with spackle. Recommend

Part of my real estate business is getting properties ready for sale and when repairing typical cracks of plaster and lathe, the 6" mesh tape is my go-to repair product. The Red Devil 6" has been the one mesh that I use most. The consistency of the "stickiness" affords me the opportunity to apply many linear feet of it at a time without it peeling off of the wall surface -- certainly before and during application of the first layer of spackle. It is competitively priced compared to other brands.

I bought this and used it on my Roof with Wet Patch Repair and it worked Great very happy great price fast delivery .. Never used it inside but works great outside Ty ...Hope this helps your project

This mesh did the job, but it wasn't as easy to work with on my ceiling as I anticipated. I watched a You Tube video, my go to, and got some tips that helped. I am okay with the end result.

Serves its purpose and fixed my wall. The adhesive is not as strong but with putty it’s fine
