This is a great series for young people

We discovered The Kingdom of Fantasy series by Geronimo Stilton at a little neighborhood library—and instantly fell in love! After starting with Book 6, we were so hooked that we went back to buy the series from the very beginning. My kids are 4 and 2, and this has become our nightly read-aloud tradition. We've read about 1,500 pages so far, and we’re excited to continue collecting more! The stories are full of imagination, adventure, and just the right amount of humor. Perfect for young kids, and likely great for independent readers around ages 6 to 8 as well. We especially loved the illustrations, bolder words, maps and mazes throughout the story!

My seven-year old loves Geronimo Stilton books. This book, The Kingdom of Fantasy, is not only fun, with its colorfully characteristic emphasis on different words on the page, but it's educational, teaching children (and adults) facts related to different myths and folklore that they might not get in elementary school. She is now reading a chapter of the book that is causing her to work her brain to unscramble words (or better yet, to read words backwards - which helps brain development). When she figured out (on her own) that the words were written backwards and figured the words out, she cracked up! She is enjoying this book so much, and so am I! I highly, highly recommend this book!(UPDATED REVIEW: This was written by the seven-year old I referred to in my review above) "I REALLY LOVE GERONIMO STILTON BOOKS, they are cool! I think you should try it".

Buen producto

My 8-year-old does not enjoy reading; it is difficult for her so she avoids it. Part of her homework is reading 15 minutes each night, and it is a struggle to find books she likes to read rather than feeling like homework. She just finished the Never Girls books (which she liked) and I was looking for something to try next. My friend recommended this book and I bought it for my daughter, and she asks to stay up later to read more! There are pictures and games (like solving a code) throughout the book, plus some words in a pretty colored font that makes this book unique. I am also happy that there are a few more books in this series!

Both of my sons are big fans of the Geronimo Stilton series. My oldest, 13, has grown out of the series, but my youngest, 8, will read these books over and over. I order the new series for the youngest and surprisingly, my 13 year old picked them up and read them all. The color and pictures are fantastic, I particularly love the way they use different fonts to convey emotions. The stories are exciting and the characters are fun.
