Great in all respects except sound is very weak / tinny.
Great picture, super nice color and clarity. Very good smart tv capabilities, paired with a great remote with app buttons. Responsive, easy to navigate apps. No need for a fire stick or other device. My only criticism is the sound is poor / weak, and it lacks a headphone jack or audio out, which means you cannot use an external speaker or sound bar. It's not a deal killer, but clearly a flaw. It's very light weight, so I use it to watch TV outside. If there was a way to use an external speaker, this would be a solid five stars.Update:. I was incorrect insofar as the TV has an 'optical out' for sound. I realized this and bought a Bestisan S7020P Sound bar off Amazon for like 60 something bucks. Wow. While I would have liked the TV to have better sound, adding the soundbar is crazy good. I use the TV outside and the soundbar combo is terrific. Anyway, just saying you can add a sound bar as most will have an optical input that the TV can interface with.

24" speakers on back, vesa 100
Great color, very vibrant, but can almost see "scan" lines up close.Very light, all plug in come in from the sides, so easy to wall mount. I moved the plug wire holder over to a screw hole on the side to make back flatter.Remote a bit weird, cant find a jump/previous button.am trying diff rabbit ear antenna's now, am hoping this flat one will work, cuz want to velcro it to back of tv.It's a little twitchy right now, and breaks up a bit in the afternoons? But worked well during the day, didn't have to move it around then. You may want to get one with a dial so you can tune it better.https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07D4YTMT9/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1I used a basic wall mount that turned out surprisingly sturdy, but a bit tough to slide it back onto.https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07F2PQBRY/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o09_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1WALI Tilting TV Wall Mount Bracket Compact Low-Profile for Most LED, LCD, OLED and Plasma Flat Screen TVs up to 27 inch, 55 lbs, VESA 75 and 100 (1327LM), Black

Great find, setting can be a little difficult.
The media could not be loaded. 11:12 PMTelevision.Delete delete. Delete.I really enjoyed the television.Ear.It's kind ofSo, at first, the TV was very hard to get to use.The HDR didn't show up right away.I'm still trying to figure out the different events color techniques. And the brightness isn't very high, but there is a walk will work around around this.I've no through Factory menu, but I would not suggest it unless you know what you're doing and do the research into it. You can adjust some to a better working position. But, at first, the TV was very hard and difficult like was just difficult to use. Once you figure it out, though, the menus there is no 2.0., It's just HDR 1.4., I mean HDMI 1.4.But for the price that I paid for the 4K, 50-inch was pretty, very good. Like I could not beat it. I was well worth that.So I'm how I am I've suggested for anyone and I really enjoy the television.

The TV sent to me was used.
Was used. Missing all of the screws for the base. Was programmed with someone elseâs Google account. Had return to sender written all over it. I give the seller one star. The TV isnât half bad though. There is a compression related screen blemish at the bottom left from the brute that repackaged it but I can live with it. I use it as a computer monitor for cad drawings so donât look to me for a review on the Google parts. Picture quality is pleasant but a bit exaggerated on primary colors. Has all the amenities for HDMI such as audio, wake from sleep etc. also nice to see a network jack for all you 4k streamers out there. I prefer Roku TVs so again Google free household. Just FYI in case it matters, SANSUI is a Japanese company so you will be supporting a country that doesnât have a communist regime exploiting its people.

The TV sound is horrible, and other bad things...
The picture is good. The sound is HORRIBLE! Also, it is (almost) impossible to remove the irritating system sounds you hear when using the remote. After spending a lot of time looking in every drop down menu, over, and over, and over, the remove system sounds was not to be found. When you Google "remove system sounds, Android TV, SANSUI ES43S1A, you are met with YouTube videos, and web tutorials that show how to remove system sounds on different Android TVs, and they all show an item in the sound menu, called system sound, or something similar. You simply click on that, click system sounds off, and the annoying beeping is gone. NOT SO on the SANSUI ES43S1A. How can this company be so idiotic as to assume that everyone likes to hear annoying beeps while changing channels, or accessing the system menu. I luckily found a Reedit thread where another poor soul had the same problem. And the upshot is, in order to remove system sounds on this TV you have to use ADB, which is the Android Debug Bridge software. You can find plenty of information on how to use ADB on YouTube. Once it is installed on your PC, and you are able to remote connect to your Android TV, you would use the following bit of code:settings put system sound_effects_enabled 0.After trial and error I was able to successfully remove the system sound effects on my TV.

Owned 1 day and already considering returning it
The TV itself is good. Not great but not really bad either. My problem is the operating system, or i think this is whats causing all my issues. To make a change in the settings, something that takes seconds on other tvs i've owned, takes minutes with this tv. As an example, i'm watching netflix and screen is a bit too bright. Press menu button to make changes. Wait a few seconds, press menu button again. Wait about 5 to 10 more seconds, press menu button again and it finally works. Scroll down to brightness and press it, nothing happens. Press brightness button again, nothing happens. Press brightness button again, nothing happens. Press menu button and then brightness button and now it works. Make the changes i needed to make and press back button. Nothing happens. Press back button again, nothing happens. Press menu button and then back button and now it works. You're probably thinking that i figured out the fix to this wonky operating system and that as long as i press menu before pressing on the button i actually want to work, that this should solve my problems but it doesn't. Sometimes pressing the menu button before the actual button i need does nothing. Another example is im using a bluetooth headset. Worked great for about an hour but then the headphones stopped working. So, need to get back into the settings. Keep pressing buttons trying to find my way there and nothing happens. Press menu button and then the button i was pressing and still nothing happens. Get so angry i'm pressing menu button 15x in a row, still nothing happens. I spent 5 mins trying to get to the settings area to fix my bluetooth and got so angry i gave up and came to my computer to write this review. This has got to be the absolute worst operating system i have ever used. It feels like a 1992 cell phone made in china and sold for $10 on ebay. No matter what i need to change in the settings, its always ends in frustration. Something that would take 20 settings on a more expensive tv takes 5 min to 30 mins on this tv. It is the most frustrating piece of technology i have ever used. The TV itself is ok, but this operating system that seems to have been designed by a 14 year old is beyond bad and unless you are a very very patient person, i would not recommend this TV to you. I doubt very much that i'll be keeping it and will probably return it before the week is over to spend a bit more money on a tv that comes with an operating system that actually does something when you press a remote control button

Smart tv
Good tv, it nice that it has 3 hdmi ports and also av support, so at least i can play my orignal xbox on the tv with the orignal av input without buying an hdmi adapter for my orignal xbox, i can also have 3 hdmi plugged in at the same time since it came with 3 hdmi ports, the tv also came with a spare hdmi, so now i have a back up one, i will probably use that spare hdmi when ever i want to hook up my laptop to my tv via hdmi, instead of using my switch hdmi to do that, and sometimes the remote won't turn the tv on, it annoying when i want to play a video game on my tv
