I purchased this ladder as an economical alternative to an expensive, rarely-used attic ladder. It provides great height to access my attic, and stores neatly.I'm 6'-2" tall, with long legs, and I'll admit this is NOT an ideal ladder for people with short legs. There's quite a stretch between rungs, but since this is an occasional-use ladder and not an everyday thing, I don't mind, and it was less than half the price of a similar (and much heavier) telescoping ladder at my local home improvement store.For occasional use, this is a great alternative to an extension ladder!
