Micro reel bluegill special
I bought this reel for a catfish pole. Unfortunately it is a micro reel and would only be good for a bluegill pole. It seems to be well made and weight.

Great Reel 6U
This is a very nice reel. Works great a lot better for me than an open face reel which always tangled. I enjoy this style of reel so much I I got rid of my open face reels and now I only use the closed face trigger spins. I own several different brands in different sizes. But my favorite one is the Shakespeare Synergy TI Spincast Reel. I even bought a Shakespeare Micro Series light action rod to go with it. I really like the Shakespeare reel I just wish they would make other trigger spins in different sizes.

Easy to use, great for the casual fisherman
Perfect for the casual fisherman. Great spare for when you're brining company who doesn't fish often or is confident with a spinning reel or bait caster.

cheap chrome on take up reel, rusting after a couple of weeks
was very satisfied with reel when first purchased. After only 2 weeks of being used, line started to get frayed, poor casting and hard to take in line on occasion. Opened reel only to find rust spots developing on the chrome take up reel. These are not just small rust spots but quite large places where the line runs as the line is being retrieved. My 15 year old daughter really liked this reel and she was able to cast far out when she first got it. I am going to try to obtain a better quality reel for her.

Good value
For less than 25 dollars this little reel is great. Hooked it up for a few practice casts , works great, the design and engineering that is instilled in it is well thought out . Plan to use it ice fishing this winter and for bass finess fishing this summer. All and all as stated this is a good bang for the buck.
