HiveThermostat for Heating control (Combi Boiler and Multizone) without Hive Hub

Brilliant for controlling the heating from my home or phone. Looks stylish and unobtrusive. Easy to use. This is my second one and controls the water underfloor heating in the kitchen.

Purchased this replacement as ours kept giving the wrong temperature eventually at 32 degrees so we couldn't switch on heating, arrived quickly, easy to install, no need for a plumber we where told we had to replace the whole thing hub as well but it's not the case so very pleased.

After I dropped my existing Hive thermostat and smashed it buying this from Amazon saved me £200 compared to a reputable plumber's quote. I do not use the Hive Hub or the app, so I found a 2-minute online video on Pairing Hive Thermostat and Receiver in Standalone Mode. That's about how long it took to pair it to my existing receiver. And I am not a technical person. Money well spent.

I brought this for my combi boiler, I also brought the Hive Hub and Stand for it. You do get a mounting bracket to screw to the wall included though.I love it so easy to use, lots of options and you can use your mobile phone to turn on your heating or even setup geolocation. Which I have done.Best thing I've done is buying one. Very happy with the Hive thermostat.

Control the Heating & Hot Water in your home remotely from anywhere. Appearance is satisfying with clear controls. Size fits onto your standard single socket wall box or easily mountable on wall.Performance is good once you get it connected to the App properly. I am decent at installing new tec but this proved very frustrating to say the least and took considerable more time than it should even though I followed instructions to the letter. Read the app reviews (which I didn’t first) to get an understanding of some of the issues.Having said that, now that I have it connected I am very pleased with the control I have.
