Great comforter
I was unsure about this comforter when I opened it, because it seemed flat. I washed and dried it, and then it was perfect. It puffed up and is very snuggly.

Works for me
Nice looking, nice feel. Cleaned it today in my home washer. Seems fine.

Yay! A blanket!
Because of an accident with a rescue cat who was having more than a few stress problems, I found myself in need of a new lighter-weight quilt to supplement my (thankfully cat-accident-free) down comforter. I was going to get the Amazon Basics brand and after a bit of research chose this one instead, based on the reviews.I received it a day early, which was nice. The colour is good and dark and the comforter is cozy and soft enough right out of the package, but I can tell it's going to be snuggly in the extreme when I wash it. I laid it out on the bed as soon as I received it, so it could air out well until I have a chance to throw it into the washer.I'm someone who is always hot unless it's about 20F or colder. I'm a hot sleeper who leaves windows open in January. But I love to be warm and cozy in bed on a winter's night - who doesn't? - and instead of just one blanket, I like to layer several blankets for fine temperature control during sleep.I'm also a woman of a certain age, as I believe the colloquialism goes, and it's really important sometimes for the health and safety of all living things that I am able to cool down fast and stay cool during those times when one second I'm fine and the very next second it feels like I've morphed without warning into a small, throbbing boil in the armpit of Satan himself as he takes a tour of the furnace room on the ninth circle of his domain.I get these hot flashes from hell is what I'm saying here. Sisters, you know what I'm talking about. This quilt is light enough to layer, light enough to use on its own, and perhaps most importantly light enough to fling violently across the room in a fit of unbridled spontaneous combustion.Still, it's not a perfect thing. The three stars are because:- The quality and feel of the fabric is lower than I expected, as is the fill. I wasn't expecting 8,000-count cashmere grandma alpaca silk, but I can at least guarantee it's better than burlap;- The stitching of the square baffles along the edges stops a full one to two inches before the edges of the blanket, which will be problematic for washing because the fill will eventually bunch down in these gaps, leaving you with a gigantic double-layered stuffed-crust rectangular pancake. It also means that the enormous hassle of dry cleaning is the only way to be sure this is avoided;- In a few places here and there, not many, a few bits of fill had to be pulled out of the seams where it probably got caught during the manufacturing process, and a number of threads had to be snipped;- And finally, I'll have to sew a couple gaps here and there left from removing threads from seams that weren't quite closed and where long threads had been left by the machine. These are rather minor, although annoying fixes, and if they aren't done sooner than later they'll grow to eventually make a mess out of the blanket. But with perhaps an hour's worth of work with a needle and thread - less if I can borrow my niece's sewing machine - I can fly my Cinderella flag and fix these manufacturing flaws and have a really nice little blanket, I think, that will have no problem surviving a washing machine as long as proper washing and drying temps are strictly adhered to. These flaws would be avoided altogether if there was tighter QA on the production line. These are pretty sloppy problems. No cookies for your factory bosses here.I'll update if anything catastrophic or life-changing occurs during or after a couple of washes. In the meantime, if you're willing to do a little work yourself, this is a nice, cozy, comfy quilt.I'll try the Amazon Basics one next time, to compare.

Color not as expected
I received this comforter today and have not yet used it. I appears to be good quality, is soft to the touch and is reasonably priced. I am disappointed, however, with the color. I expected a brighter orange but the shade is far from the online photo. I know online photos may be somewhat different than in person but not this different. I am not going to take the time to return it and will just live with the unexpected color.

Was ok
Had to return , perfect size but color didn’t match what I was expecting, was not soft , was more like a light slippery spring coat material , if it would have been the color I wanted I would have kept it but not real happy because of material.

Love these comforters, but shipping took FOREVER
I’d ordered 3 of these in varying colors and sizes last year and we love them. They’re light, but very soft, warm, and snuggly. I ordered a king in this color this fall, with shipping from Amazon, and it took well over a month to arrive via supposed Prime.

Good quality for the price, extremely lightweight, inconsistent product
This is the third of this type of comforter I have purchased. I have purchased three different colors and three different sizes, and they are all different. I am not sure if the manufacturing is just inconsistent or if there is a difference across colors or sizes. The aster blue, full size was perfect for my needs. The color was as pictured on the website. It is very lightweight and comfortable but not sufficient for very cold nights. I have washed it many times without any change in appearance. It does not attract pet hair or dust. I then purchased a king-size navy blue version. Unfortunately this one was very bulky and heavy. It didn't have the soft, smooth fabric, and it attracts lint and pet hair terribly. It is also so bulky that the king size is difficult to wash and dry. It also pilled up after the first several washes. The final version was ivory (twin size) and this was much closer to the original aster blue item. It is shinier, closer to a sateen. It is also slightly lighter weight than the original and is better as a summer weight blanket. I have only washed it twice, but there were no problems with the quality after washing and drying.

Not bad quality but the color was off
Although I realize monitors can display colors differently than they appear in reality, the color of this comforter was dramatically different from how it appeared on screen. I bought the green, anticipating a medium-dark grassy green, but the actual color was much lighter in addition to the shade being more in the realm of Crayola spring green. Not the color I needed, and not very attractive IMO. But the quality of the comforter seemed good.

TRUE COLOR, LIGHTWEIGHT, SOFT, QUALITY COMFORTER
The Superior All-season Comforter was liked for its slim smaller size, light weight, cool fill, plain box stitch, good price, and nice plain astec blue color. The descriptions, pictures and soft smooth cozy quality feel were all very accurate. However, the blue was a very bright color that did not match present blue/teal/beige/coral bed set coverings. Did not use it. Reordered the camel color. Exactly as pictured. One got transit damage and other delivered very quick in larger stronger box. Comforter is very suitable, very light weight, after one week try. For some reason the corners are showing brown dot scratch marks and cover is only folding over the mattress bed. Strange for now.Update after 30 days:Comforter is made of micro-cotton and it has had a slight uncomfortable static-cling to the body buff skin since beginning. Washed once in cold water and little liquid softener, but still same cling. Micro cotton tends to do that once before on me. Will never buy any product again with that fabric. Return window closed. Also Brown dots washed out likely due to water steamer to get the fabric crinkles out. Manufacturing crinkles do not come out with gentle wash and dry machine. Seems only steam will do it but must be clean steam. Comforter is still very light, warmth and breathable, but could be heavier. Also a-lot of loose threads on the single needle stitching unraveled and needed to be trimmed off. Item works for now. Would not repurchase again.

Black seems more of a charcoal grey...
I received my Twin sized, "Black" comforter today. I verified the actual colour of the comforter with my "Charcoal Grey" cargo pants from Mark's Work Wearhouse. The colour is identical. I'm a bit disappointed that the "Black" I received is not "Black" and does not match my MainStays Black Walmart Sheets. Please also keep in mind that the dimensions are also 2" shorter in both directions than in the description so it JUST covers the bed sides. If you want it to drape lower, get the larger size. The fiber fill gives the texture of a down fill when you rub the fabric between your fingers. It is somewhat thin, and fairly light, but well made. The outer fabric is a 100% polyester microfiber but feels like a cotton/polyester blend sheet and has a slight sheen to it. It washes very well in cold water and dried on low. I did not notice any issues after washing and drying.I would not normally comment of the condition of the shipping box, but bear with me, it is relevant... The box I received had a large puncture hole in it. It looks as though there was a mishap with either the Amazon Warehouse or Canada Post and a fork lift (Note: they are on strike at the moment). The hole went through the shipping box, cut through the plastic zipper pack and the internal plastic wrap. The material survived with a minor scuff where the fork contacted the fabric. My conclusion? The fabric can take a bit of a beating, so it should last fairly well.

Best comforter ever!
Ordered King size Coral (more like a soft rusty orange) for a double bed as wanted it to completely cover the bed without using a bottom skirt. The colour is beautiful, it's light weight, puffy, soft as silk, cuddly and incredibly warm (especially for Cdn winters). I can see it being an all season comforter if you have air conditioning as well. I'm in my late 70's and it's the nicest one I've ever without paying an arm and a leg! And certainly works for seniors in not being too heavy, yet feeling very warm and insulated all over. A smaller one would be ideal for seniors who lack mobility, are sitting most of the time or in a wheelchair in keeping them feeling warm. The baffles keep the insides from lumping or shifting as well. Highly recommended!

Black is not actually black
The product is great...BUT I was looking for a black comforter to match my room theme (black and white). I was disappointed once I put the comforter on my bed and noticed it's not a true black, it has a brown undertone. So it is absolutely a great product, but not if you're specifically looking for a true black comforter. Also note that dust and other stuff is going to really show on the comforter right away, so maybe don't get the black at all unless you want to wash it a lot.

THE COLOUR IS AWESOME!!!!
LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS CORAL COMFORTER!!!! It is so soft to the touch!!! MY cat immediately crawled under it andslept for hours so he loves it too LOL! The fastest delivery ever! 2 days! It was packaged very well, in a plastic bag in the comforter bag in a box! Its bag can be reused to store another blanket even. I am SO glad I didn't order a green comforter last week and found this one instead. You will not be sorry I'm sure. I always want a KING anything to be bigger than they are (for a Queen) bed, but I am so in love with it I don't even care now. Sorry I can't rate the warmth factor as I only received it today. Hoping it's not over warm.
