Works as intended. Super simple design. It would be nice if the channel was deep enough to allow multiple parallels, but I can machine some myself if I really need it.

They work ok but due to them not being very strong magnetically they are easily lost and they collect small shavings and have to be cleaned off alot

Works for intended purpose. Magnets had to be glued in because they came out, (stuck to the vice) when Parallels taken off vice. Super glued in they work great.

Great little magnets that hold parallels in place especially when taking parts in and of the vise.

Magnetic hold weak. Holding ⅛ parallels doesn’t work so well. Must avoid contact once the keepers are on. Because of how they are made & designed they don’t work for holding most material because they grip over the top of the parallels and not from the ends. The keepers must be removed to lay something on the edge of the parallels. My vice is 4 inches and the parallels are 6 inches so they extend past the ends of the vice making the keepers impossible to use on the ends.

I am a retired machinist (just closed my shop) and volunteer at our local high school machine shop. I bought these for the class and I wish I knew about them when I had my shop. I always bent steel strapping into a Z shape to hole my parallels in place. These work so mush better.
