Perfection in a hand cream!

I just bought this hand lotion for the first time. It seems to be a great product: it absorbs very quickly, and it is not greasy at all. It does a wonderful job of moisturizing. The lotion part is perfect. The smell is a different story. It's very similar to the smell of WD-40. Though it has grown on me over the past week, I can't imagine that I'll reorder this scent. I had read reviews before purchasing that described the scent as "spa-like", but my nose isn't picking up on that at all... (I was imagining a light smell maybe adjacent to the smell of Caudalie products or even even a sharper medicinal smell, but this was SO unlike anything I've experienced in the body products realm that I'm not sure what to compare it to outside of automotive scents. Ha!) Anyway, the product itself is great - as it should be for the price, but the scent is not for me. :)

I used to buy the pink one. Try this color this time. Smells good, like woods or forest. Still moisturizing as well.

I am not a fan of most scented things, and I can’t explain why this product, with its medicinal, clove-y, botanical smell, soothes me instead of annoying me or making me queasy. Just be aware that it does have a pretty strong smell, and you should probably not order a tube on line until you’ve had a chance to check it out in person. Everyone’s tastes are different.

Have used this hand cream for years and it’s the best. The price is a little pricey but worth it and smells wonderful, it feels like a spa experience. Happy that Amazon carries it.

aesop are simply the best of all time products. Even of they are a little bit pricier, they are worth every penny. All of their smell are so satisfying and also long lasting.
