This aluminum is made for slow flash; it is atomized. It burns exceptionally well for what it is meant to do. If you want to make unspecified compositions that are definitely not flash powder this is not the aluminum you are looking for. When it burns it produces a bright white flame and sends sparks flying. It did go bang a few times; probably about ten percent of them. When it did however the neighbors came outside.

Looks a lot more like 30 µm not 5
Im a little disappointed in the quality of this products, Specifically the particle size which they claim to be 5 µm. The picture listed in the ad has a very dark in Clay like texture to it where is the stuff I got is much lighter in color and less clumpy which in my experience indicates larger particles size. I’ve purchased 5 µm powder and before and this looks nothing like what I remember. Also when using this with ammonium nitrate prills, the aluminum powder did not coat the Prills effectively and would often collect at the bottom of the container . Overall this product is okay and does what I need it to however I’m fairly skeptical about whether or not it’s actually 5 µm aluminum

Thermite ready, but not sized as listed.
I measured, and these are only ~30 micron particles. Use at own risk. Even though size is off, it is a uniform mixture with only 1-2 micron difference in particle size. Works great for thermite mixes.

Not for tannerite!!!
Atomized, DOES NOT WORK for binary targets/tannerite. And you can't return it, because it's labeled a "flammable material", even tho the actual product is anything but. Poor salesmanship
