Elex II - PC

I am a big fan of Piranha Bytes games, played Gothic 1, 2 and 3 and played Elex. I spent nearly 185h exploring the world of Elex and it was worth every penny I spent on it. I was a little worried when they listed some of the improvements in Elex 2 but now that I played I can safely say that it is a true gem, I'm not going to say a masterpiece. The world is vast and exploration is a real joy in Elex 2, it really is impressive how open the world is in Elex 2, I found myself pushing to the borders trying to reach the limits of the map. The RPG elements in the game are top tier and that is where PB really shines, there is an array of weapons, items, tools, materials, scrap and nothing feels like a waste, everything can be used and if not used can be sold for shards. Whilst it is massively improved compared to the first game, the combat is still a little bit clunky and can be brutally unfair at times but still with levelling up gets much better. Choices in this game whether they are action or in dialogues do really matter and have real consequences which gives the incentive for multiple playthroughs.Overall, if you are a fan of open world action RPG games then this is a must have game. One last warning, the game isn't easy if you buy this game expecting it to be a walk in the park then you will be disappointed.

Ok first off, you don't want a challenge don't buy this game because it's pretty brutal. Also as far as gameplay goes. It's also a bit janky however it is a great time where your decisions actually do have consequences although they aren't always immediate. Be a jerk to everyone and the faction your trying to join probably aren't going to let you. See an enemy with a red skull over it an prepare to get very dead. Saying all that the quests have multiple ways to complete them. So don't always shoot first and try talking to the corpse after. Try talking because the dialogue is better than in both Skyrim and The witcher 3 with actual consequences. To sum up Elex 2 isn't a perfect game, it's not a triple A game. but it is a combination of frustration and fun in equal parts and like The witcher 3 it was made by a very small team.

sure the original game had flaws eurojank basically screen tear framerate ugly facial models and a difficult everything will kill you curve.... so the sequel addresses that better graphics still not great but so much nicer... stories quests dialogue all so well done ubisoft need lessons on crafting quests because piranha bites does it really well ... no microtransactions no pay to get all weapons... no everything is in the game im 60 hours in and im not even finished lots to do a huge map with outer areas sadly devoid of things to pick up and only a few secrets... so far personally I got the first game for free from the devs and bought the 2nd one because the first game was good fun this sequel is underrated and darned cheap for a game that really is good funny and value for money for less than AAA price

Brilliant, big improvement on the first game.

This is a very good game definitely a lot better than the first one the graphics have improved good combat it is also easier than the first game gameplay can be a bit sticky at times but does return to normal after a few moments enemies are easier to fight against leveling up is also quicker overall a very good game but definitely an improvement over the first game would definitely recommend.

There's alot of talking in the game so takes up alot of time

The graphics are garbage and wouldn't look out of place on the 360. That wouldn't be such a problem if the story and gameplay was something to write home about but it isn't, its naff.

It is nothing like Elex 1, you cannot kill a rat without getting your destruction increased, this game is angled to being a bad person not a good person. It is terrible when compared to the first one which was excellent, we should all get our money back for a useless game. There are wonderful graphics with Horizon, came out same time, the choices are minimal. Do not buy it is really bad. Try and be a good person and you are penalized. The women are awful. The makers of this game should be hauled over the coals and strung up!!!
