Doesn’t work with my new iPhone 15 Pro Max using iOS 17.2. Also, didn’t include the batteries so I didn’t learn that it didn’t work with my phone until after I bought a battery adding insult to injury! I don’t even remember what it cost but it wasn’t much. I could’ve returned it but was not worth the trip or the bother of having to remember.It is said that a smart man learns from his mistakes, but a wise man learns from mistakes of other. If you wish to be wise don’t waste your time or money with this product.

Use this to control my iphone 4 for taking video of my golf swing

Get’s the job done. Connects well and is easy to use. Once I placed the battery in, the back cover didn’t fit well on the remote. (I used the exact battery suggested) I had to tape it on but otherwise it’s fine.

The battery goes in with the flat side with the lettering and the big + facing UP and the smooth rounded side facing DOWN and touching the contacts in the middle. Different phones have different ways of configuring Bluetooth devices, but it should work something like this. Open the Bluetooth settings on your phone. Switch on the shutter, then press the scan button on your phone. On Android, it should show up as "AB Shutter". Tap on it and it should connect. Android might say something about connecting a keyboard, it did on mine. On Android you might need to configure your camera app to take a picture when you press the volume up key.To use, start the camera app on your phone then place it in a holder or lean it against something. Flip the switch to the on position, then press one of the buttons to take a picture. (One button says Apple and the other says Android, but both appear to do the same thing on my Galaxy Note Edge.) Be sure to flip the switch back to the off position when you're done with it.

Device works well as expected. Easy setup on iPhone and functions together with camera. No need to download the recommended app. Turn on Iphone's bluetooth, turn on remote and click on "Pair".
