YONGNUO YN968EX-RT YN968EX Flash Speedlite, GN60 LED Wireless Flash Speedlight Master TTL HSS, for Canon Digital Cameras

I bought this speedlite in March to use with my Canon EOS 80D and it works great on that camera. I mostly use it on-camera attached to the hot shoe and TTL and zooming work perfectly. I've used it at a couple of events and this flash never missed a beat. The LED light is a nice addition, thought I admit I don't use it very often. Scrolling through menus and settings with the dial is a little confusing at first but with a little practice it becomes easier, besides almost all settings can be changed on the camera in the flash menu. I've never had any overheating issues, and the battery life has been great. Very happy with my purchase.

I've had this for over 2 months now. Had next day shipping for free which was great. Love the flash. Has so many features and options like the e-ttl which works perfectly with my canon and the master and slave modes. Great flash for a great price

Purchased two of theses. I also have the YN-560IV. I shoot exclusively off- camera flash. I have done one photo shoot with them and I am impressed. Didn't think I would have much use for the modeling light, but I was wrong. Used it as additional lighting to light the background while using a fog machine and it gave me a nice lighted background effect. I have yet to shoot ETTL so I can't comment on that aspect. Over all the build is well made not high quality but quality. Would purchase this product again if I am in need of another.

I use this with my Canon 6D II and typically the 28-135mm lens. Works great and is a lot less expensive than a Canon model. Good value.

This flash is SO LOUD!! Big mistake shooting a wedding in a church with this. Why would anyone make a flash that beeps so loud several times after shooting! I hate this flash and I will be selling or giving this pos away!

I was really hoping I'd love this flash I had the 565 and 568 and this had both of those features combined plus it had a wireless master/slave but it's nightmare for me to use. I can't figure out the easy way to do anything turn the sound on or off or even adjust the flash compensation. I like to shoot -2/3 at events and this flash it works well and it doesn't overheat and I shoot a lot but reminds me of a Nikon or Panasonic camera vs a Canon menu just complicated and a pain I own 4 of their flashes and the 622 remote kit but that also is a let down although much faster to setup than this is. You might find the menu system easy but I've spent a good amount of time and it's a frustrating experience. However the 600 series Canon also is a very complicated and not intuitive so this is probably the same in pain in the ass ness LOL...

I bought this flash because I needed a third flash for a portrait studio setup. Since I was too cheap to keep buying Canon flashes I figured I should give this one a try and connect it to my Canon ST-E3-RT Transmitter wireless. According to the spec sheet the YONGNUO YN968EX-RT should be able to be controlled this way.Upon arrival I started to play with my new toy and one of the first things I wanted to try out was of course to link this baby up to my wireless transmitter. No luck! The YONGNUO YN968EX-RT flash had a wireless option but only to be connected to other YONGNUO devices. I tried to set it to channel 1 like my other units, and had the wireless transmitter do a scan. No luck. No flash showed up on my transmitter display.I can do an optical trigger though, but that means that I have to adjust my flash settings on the flash itself rather than from my camera.Other than this it seem to be an ok flash, but I guess the Canon RT flash stays on my wishlist, and this one at some point will be up for sale.
