Surface Cleaner 2-pack 16oz Bottle Polish

Cleans oxidized and rusty chrome to near new condition. Follow this up with a good polish, and you will be very pleased with the end result. That is something to remember, that this is a CLEANER, not a polish. That being said, it actually does leave chrome quite shiny. I have found that by wearing rubber gloves, and you should- see warnings on bottle, and rubbing the cleaner on chrome without a cloth or anything else that you get a lot out of each drop of the product, and that the surface cleans up rather quickly. The cleaner is very watery, even after you shake it/mix it as much as it is going to mix. This doesn't impede it's ability to work however.

I cannot say enough about this amazing product! I don't think I'll use even half of the one bottle I've opened it just takes the smallest amount to make almost any surface appear new! It's been several years since I made this purchase and I decided to give the second bottle to a family friend because I was never going to use the first bottle within my lifetime. I used it on a washer that I purchased used and I just wanted to clean up the top of it and the sides a little bit and it's a powder coated surface I made one spot cleaner and before I knew it I had done the entire washer inside and out using only one rag and it looked brand new! It took off soap scum rust calcium buildup lime and God knows what else LOL. I've never in my life used a cleaner more powerful that works faster and with less effort. I don't know how they make this stuff but it just takes a tiny amount on a rag for almost any job and the odor is not overbearing. This cleaner removes everything you don't want on any surface you don't want it on really and it doesn't scratch up most common found surfaces and it wipes right off clean. You can use it with water you can use it dry you can use it in the sun you can use it in the cold or in the heat, it doesn't seem to matter, it works fantastic! The only thing I haven't used it on is an automotive painted surface like base coat / clear coat. I'm a retired automotive refinishing technician and I think it might leave some very fine scratches that a little polish would remove and overall I don't think it would do the clear coat any harm. This cleaner is like a paste and it is casually, but extremely aggressive without being damaging. And that's why I love it so much. It is an abrasive however so it would remove a single stage paint in other words color without clear coat on top but as far as severely damaging any surface, I just don't see it happening. The main requirement for use is to rub it in and wipe it off, do a little bit at a time and go back to any spots that need more cleaning. I haven't had to apply it more than twice and it loves to remove rust stains! I even used it on a white T-shirt to remove a purple grape juice stain LOL I just took a little dab of it, blotted it with my finger put a little bit of water on my finger and blotted a bit more, let it sit for 5 minutes, rinsed the spot under the tap and (I could no longer see the stain) then hung it up to dry. Once it was dry there was absolutely no evidence of the grape juice stain or that I used Colonel Brassey Surface Cleaner on the spot, it didn't damage the material at all. For reference, it's a solid white Cotton t-shirt. I also had this rust ring in the bottom of my toilet. I couldn't find anything to get rid of it but one swipe of Colonel brassy on a rag removed it instantly! I couldn't believe it, it's so simple to use! I cleaned that whole ring in less than a minute and surprisingly it has not returned! Get yourself some Colonel brassy and give your hands and arms a permanent break from all that scrubbing and rescue your lungs from any further coughing and gagging from the horrible and dangerous odors from store-bought cleaners! I'm saving a fortune in cleaning supplies

When it arrived I had to dump the whole bottle into an empty jar to mix the contents. The pumice was hard as a rock, but I was able to mix it. Once it is mixed, the product continues to separate into liquid and pumice. If you let the container stand for 5 minutes or longer without shaking, you will get water all water when you try to squirt it from the bottle. When it is mixed it works well, about the same as the Turtle Wax Chrome Polish and Cleaner. Store it laying down, so that it can be mixed/shaken when you are ready to use. It is an OK value, but you will need to mix it allot.

I had an old bottle of Colonel Brassy that I was milking for over a year before I finally needed more and ordered these. I immediately noticed a difference - it’s yellowish instead of white and it was indeed SUPER runny. I used it anyway and was disappointed by how much more I seemed to need and in the final result. I kept using it for a couple weeks to clean my sinks and faucets and noticed it seemed to be getting better. I realized there was a solid CHUNK of it in the bottom of the bottle! I added some of the liquid from the second bottle and shook it like my life depended on it and now it works *almost* just like the original. So, lesson learned. The formula is definitely different, but make sure you’re shaking the absolute crap out of the bottle before every use, otherwise all the abrasive settles in the bottom.
