I've installed both the new pre-motor filter and filter A (the post-motor filter) on my Dyson DC25 Animal, and they work like champs! This allowed me to take out my old filter A, which is washable, clean it up, and let it dry (it's winter, so it took several days to get completely dry). I'm able to vacuum without interruption thanks to these high-quality filters. They fit into the machine as they should, and my Dyson is functioning flawlessly with them installed. Delivery was timely if not lightning-fast. I'm pleased with the purchase & will buy another of the pre-motor filters to have on hand when the current one needs to be replaced (in about a year). The pre-motor filters (at least this variety) are not washable, like filter A is. Clean filters make for top-notch performance, which is why I own a Dyson to begin with.

Great product at such an affordable price. I noticed my Dyson ball wasn't moving anymore when I figured out why I had come to realist the filter inside of it had broken. I immediately searched the internet for a replacement and found this. It arrived in 2 days with my amazon prime membership and I installed it into the vacuum within seconds I was stress free cleaning.

You get what you pay for.These fit well as replacements and definitely helped improve vacuum performance since my old filters are 6ish years old and cleaned maybe 3 times.The latch on the motor filter is noticeably different but I haven't had a problem with it popping off the catch.At this time my only complaint (minor) is that the rubber gasket was not seated with an adhesive so it popped off very VERY easily. I just took some glue and applied a bit in the channel where the gasket sits and it seems to be just fine.So far I would recommend this as reasonably priced replacement filters. If something happens I'll update this feedback.

I was suspicious of these generic filters for my beloved Dyson vacuum so I paid the big bucks for a genuine filter. I only needed the post motor filter so it wasn't too terribly more than this kit. However, the brand new post motor filter from Dyson did not accurately fit in my machine! The genuine Dyson filters installed normally but would emit a whistling/buzzing sound that got even louder as the motor stopped. Talked to Dyson and they sent a second filter which was a little better but still noisy.I ordered this kit to try and silence my DC25. It seems the rubber gasket on this one is slightly thicker which seals on my machine PERFECTLY! Believe it or not, this generic filter fits my machine better than either genuine Dyson filter! Love it!

I *thought* this was a great deal. After getting my Dyson Animal dc25 fixed at the vac shop - they said that i needed to replace my filters because if it didn't it was going to cause problems for the motor. -- they wanted either $40 or $80 for a new set of filters (I can't remember which, but it seemed really high to me). SO... i decided i was smarter than them & I was going to go get my Dyson replacement parts from amazon -- because i knew i could find a better price.And i did...What i didn't realize was that this isn't an actual DYSON product. (after re-reading the description, it only says that it's aftermarket parts -- in the very last sentence of the description);When i received the parts -- i popped them in & i was on my way vacuuming as happy as can be. AND of course, i tossed the original filters -- why would i need those anyhow??Here's the thing -- After the vacuum heats up which in my case is part-way thru vacuuming any room in the house... the filter inside the ball loosens up & has enough play in it that it actually stops the ball from rolling. Its virtually impossible to vacuum when the brakes are on --which is what this feels like... I couldn't understand WHY this would be happening until i sat down & looked at it. There's a fair amount of play with this filter & how it fits in the machine (in the ball). The original never had play in it -- it fit securely. I never had this problem with the original Dyson filter.SO - now that i see that there's a guarantee that these work as expected -- i'm going to ship them back & purchase the AUTHENTIC ORIGINAL DYSON PARTS (that i thought i was buying in the first place).My suggestion -- don't buy this one. Only go with real Dyson parts.

Works perfectly with my Dyson vacuum cleaner. I decided it was time to replace the original filter since I have had my vacuum for probably 10 years now. Dyson vacuums are the best! And this filter was a cheap way to make sure it keeps kickin'!

This kit is reasonably priced, is Dyson branded, and arrived promptly. The vacuum had not been properly cleaned for "years" so the new filters with improved air flow really made a difference. Service your filters!
