So much more comfortable than a traditional sling
After shoulder surgery, I have to wear a sling with abductor pillow for at least 6 weeks. The sling I was given by my Dr was ok, but the pressure on my "good" shoulder from the sling was uncomfortable. I saw this sling on Amazon and showed it to my surgeon and he said it would be just fine. It's so much more comfortable! As long as you take your time to put it on correctly and get it adjusted for your body the first time, it is super easy to take off and put on. I've seen a couple reviews saying the velcro didn't hold up, but I'm not sure how that's possible, aside from ripping it off multiple times a day causing it to fail. The velcro is very strong, as it is meant to be put in place and left alone. The buckles are easy to open and close so you shouldn't have to mess with the industrial strength velcro.

Not fitting a short person. Terrible
Terrible problems from the start. Staps in the wrong places for a woman. It cuts into my breaststroke and the strap that goes around my chest is too short. I am a 5' 2" woman with a 41" back. The straps cuts into me and painful. If you are a tall thin male then it would be better. I should have paid more and perhaps the "DONJOY , $169.00 may have been better for a woman. Hope my measurements helps.

Comfortable to wear after getting fitted but could cause skin irritation.
This sling is definitely more comfortable than the traditional over the collar bone models once you get it fitted correctly. However, it is very difficult to get fitted correctly (it took 6 physical therapists to try and fit it correctly). I found my arm was sliding out the front of the sling since there is no thumb catch only the squeeze ball. I discovered I had a skin sensitivity to the material used to line the sling. Unless I wore long sleeves my arm started itching after a couple of hours.

Shoulder harness takes the pressure off my neck
The sling pocket is a little short, barely reaches wrist. The shoulder harness is great, the regular sling was really cutting into my neck. This sling saves me from the neck painThe ball was missing

So very helpful after rotator cuff surgery!
We definitely recommend! We bought this to use post rotator cuff surgery (full tear) and the surgeon supplied bolster sling left my husband with a very sore neck. He’s in week 6 of use, and the seam around the bolster is starting to come undone, but was easily fixed with whip stitching. We’re so happy to have found this and not have to paid a small fortune to have it (some similar products are a much higher cost). My husband is average size, and has had no problem with the length of the sleeve— all other pieces are adjustable.

Difficult to put on without help.
This is well made and very supportive, but useless unless someone helps you put it on.

Finally! An arm sling that doesn't add insult to injury !!!
Ahh, what a relief! So much more comfortable than the one I wore home from the hospital. It's a little cheaper quality but feels so much better. It doesn't dig into my neck or compress my elbow : )

Smelled like BO!!! Definitely used or a return!
This was supposed to be new but the under arm straps smelled like underarm body odor. I think someone tried to cover the odor with Lysol or some other scent maybe febreeze but I could smell that and it made me sneeze and didn’t cover the BO smell. I could have asked for a discount or used price and washed it but the sling was too difficult to put on by myself so I returned it.
