Has anyone had a problem with freshness?

Yes,I have a problem with the freshness. My concern is with the expiration date. From the date these cookies are made, they start a shelf life just like anything else. As it gets older it loses taste and starts degrading. I loved these cookies as a kid ,but the ones I received were bland and had crumbs all over them. I looked at the expiration date and knew processed foods don't hit the customer's doorstep with that short a shelf life. It's a fact with anything you buy. I'm sure my cookies weren't manufactured the day before I received them yesterday, leaving an expiration date in 20 days? That is not acceptable! Grocery stores or markets selling these items would prove my point. Sellers need to post expiration dates with food items!
