Having been a lifelong cyclist, I can tell you that without a doubt, these ( and Ergon's other products ), are the best in the business. I run these on my distance / training bike and the GA3's on my mountain bike. If another company came to me and said they would give me free grips for life, I wouldn't do it. They are extremely thoughtful in their approach, not just design but in the rubber compounds that they choose. Back in the 80's, Oakley had a line of BMX grips 1's, 2's and 3's. The 3's were awesome and were my go-to grips back in my racing days. They looked cool and were super comfy. Ergon has taken a similar architecture and refined it perfectly. My hands, as I have gotten older, would really struggle with standard round grips especially over distance. Not any more. I can ride for hours and never have an issue thanks to Ergon's masterful approach. There are literally dozens of grip companies making the same 'ol round grips that only serve to add color or a specific brand to your bike. Ergon has taken the time to literally re-invent the wheel and they have nailed it. You won't catch any other grips on my bikes. Ever. If you have comfort or numbness issues with your mitts, give these a try.

The Ergon GP1 grips are very easy to install and very comfortable. This makes them a good value. I would easily buy them again. The comfort is easy to describe: Instead of putting pressure on a focused are of the hand, these broad grips spread the weight over a much wider area, eliminating the high pressure point. The clamp on mounting design is far superior to the old school method of using alcohol, hair spray, or soap to slide on the grips and wait for them to fix in place.

This set was for the wife's hybrid bike and it was easy to install, looks good, and most of all comfortable. I've had my own set for years and it's held up very well. They are still comfortable on my commuter bike and I haven't had any issues with them.

Bought these because of hand pain. they have helped with that. one thing that is bothersome is these have a hard metal end. If you lean you bike against something, in my case the RV. The bike will slip and certainly make a mark on the RV. Remedy would be a soft end to the bar handles.

Easy to install, grip is much better feel and quality compared to other grips I have used on my mountain bikes over 30 years of MTB riding.

These grips are very easy to install and provide very comfortable grip for long rides. The palm rest is wider than other brands and provides more support for regular and larger hands.

Once these grips were correctly positioned, I no longer experienced either a sore wrist or numbing in my hand.

Muestra una construcción de gran calidad. Son muy cómodos y la mano no me ha dado molestias. Queda por ver la duración pero la primera impresión ha sido muy satisfactoria.

Meine 3 Jahre alte gleiche Griffe sind plötzlich klebrig geworden (der Weichmacher trennt sich ab). Weil die Griffe ziemlich bequem sind, habe ich ohne lange nach Alternativen zu suchen gleiche bestellt. Auszutauschen hat ca. 2 Minuten gedauert. Ich kann nicht die schlechte Rezensionen nachvollziehen, alles ist easy. Man muss einfach die Schrauben vorher etwas lockerer machen, dann gan einfach draufschieben und mit 5nm zuziehen.Kleine Anmerkung : bei langen Strecken werden die Hände doch taub, ist aber bei anderen Griffen wahrscheinlich noch schlimmer. Man sollte dann bessere Dämpfungsgabel aussuchen.

Se si é orientati all'acquisto di un prodotto simile lo si fa perché si vuole soddisfare una esigenza di ergonomia nella postura delle mani sul manubrio e questo prodotto soddisfa queste aspettativedando una corretto appoggio del palmo scaricando in più punti la pressione riducendo l'affaticamento.Il montaggio é molto semplice, non é difficoltoso l'inserimento sul manubrio in quanto il fissaggio delle stesse non é fatto per interferenza del foro rispetto alla superficie del manubrio come nelle classiche manopole ma é fatto con una vite a brugola che stringe un collare in alluminio.Questo tipo di serraggio permette lasciando lasco il serraggio di accomodarsi sulla bici e determinare la migliore angolazione meno affaticante dei polsi e di seguito eseguire il fissaggio stringendo la vite.
