I have allergies and overall just super sensitive skin. Sometimes I just randomly get itchy or get hives. I bought this during a time I was trying all the lotions just to find something that would help. To be honest, I shower in the morning and apply this and it helped my skin tremendously. I wouldn’t be itchy after showers. Hives were few and far between.

Love this lotion. I’ve been using it for almost two weeks now on my baby who has eczema, I didn’t wanna waste money on the baby version because what if it isn’t as powerful so I got this one and now my baby’s cheeks aren’t red and spotty. Honestly didn’t think it would work but it’s working great, I add it all over his body especially his face after he showers and it helps his itchiness at night. During the day I add some if the redness looks like it’s coming back and it ends up going away mid day. I’ve used about 4-5 other lotions that didn’t work so I’m very happy about this one.

Broke out in hives last week coupled with winter dry skin and needed medicated and more hydrating balms for my arms and legs. I have mature (over 40), sensitive, acne-prone, congestion-prone, combination skin. But it is less oily in the winter. Earlier last week, I had a nasty allergic reaction to something topical and ended up with contact dermatitis that further evolved into hives. Been taking meds for it but the physical hot flares of hives and discomfort on my legs and arms have been a nuance especially when I am sleeping. I will wake to want to scratch at myself. Thankfully, the flares have been pretty mild but they still itch. I bought a slew of different lotions, balms, medicated creams, and ointments and nothing really took the edge off or hydrated as well as this tub of Aveeno Balm. I absolutely love the texture of the balm version of this as it is thick. Not sure what I can liken it to, but it isn't a lotion or like heavy cream. Nor is it like Vaseline or petroleum. I appreciate glycerine being the first ingredient over water. The slip of this is dense but the application goes on smoothly and is very soothing. I've only used it a couple of times in the last 24 hours since it arrived and it has made a significant difference in my skin. I will be getting this and having it on hand from now on, especially in the winter when the air, and consequently my skin, is drier. It is extremely effective and still gentle. It will absorb into the skin, but I layered it on kinda thick so I had a hint of residue when I went to bed. But I didn't rouse to mindlessly clawing at my legs, so there is that. Who knew oats and glycerine were so healing? I mean, I did but had no idea it would be this nice. It does have a scent, not added. I believe it comes from the oats, which isn't unpleasant or medicinal. Just bland, which is fine with me. I think this would be suitable for use on both body and face, as needed. Affordable. No frills. Effective.

I love Aveeno. This is my first purchase of the Eczema nighttime balm. It is super thick. It feels like Vaseline. It does feel greasy after you put it on. Obviously it is for eczema so it has to be moisturizing. I do have eczema. Aveeno lotions imo do not feel greasy after you apply which is why I love their lotions. This balm is definitely perfect for applying at nighttime to help heal your skin while you have some down time. My skin always splits due to extremely dry skin even though I use lotions every time I wash my hands and after showers. This would be perfect after a shower to lock in the moisture. I would definitely recommend. I use the silicone “socks” at night when my feet are in need of moisture. This would be perfect to use before putting on the silicone socks. The silicone socks do feel like chicken cutlets being put on your feet but in the morning when you take them off my feet are so soft and smooth. I can turn the jar upside down and it didn’t move, that’s how thick it is. I will purchase again.

If excema is your issue. Especially during flare ups. This is your ticket. It's thick but stomps out my flare ups almost immediately. And lasts a very long time unlike others I've tried and spent a lot more. Also doesn't have an unpleasant smell like the balms out there. Only setback is if use on hands you are gonna leave smudges on your fridge and such. But I'd take flare up relief over having to clean my fingerprints off fridge any and everyday

I do not have eczema, but I have itchy, very dry, flaky skin and no moisturizer has helped. My neighbor, who has eczema, recommended I try this, and it works perfectly for me! It's the only moisturizer that has worked. I LOVE it!

I've had this one jar for about a year and a half and let me tell you, a little bit goes a long way; you can't even tell I've been using it. I use it for ANYTHING that's itchy, even bug bites! This stuff is amazing.

BUT ONLY FOR AWHILE.....SKIN IS ADJUSTING TO THE COLLOIDAL OAT ....AND OTHER INGREDIENTS IN THE CREAM IT IS GOOD TO KNOW IT STING THE SKIN BECAUSE IT SHOW THE CREAM IS WORKING ON THE SKIN....LIKE LEMON JUICE STING ON A CUT !!! PAINFUL ABOUT 4 /10 BUT ONLY FOR AWHILE . THEN SKIN CALM DOWN I THINK IF MORE RASHES APPEAR ON THE SKIN....CONTINUE TO APPLY !!!! BECAUSE IT SHOW THIS CREAM IS WORKING !!!! IT DETOXIFY, CLEANSES TOXINS , GERMS, OUT OF THE SK8N !!! IF SKIN BREAKOUT AND OOZES OUT LIQUID OUT FROM THE SKIN INDICATE TOXINS AND GERMS BEEN KILLED !!!!
