Beautiful Beast of a Puzzle
I received this massive thing yesterday. The box is huge. I laughed quite a bit as I dragged it down my walkway and into the house. One of the corners was a little smashed, but the puzzle itself is fine. No harm, no foul.Like another reviewer, I also purchased this from Germany's Amazon, so including international express shipping, it was about $365 (thank you SO much for the tip). I ordered it Friday, it shipped on Monday and I got it on Wednesday, with no holdup in customs or anything. I would give that part of this 6 stars if I could. :)I admit, I was intimidated by the 8 page instruction manual, until I realized that it was mostly just translation of a few paragraphs into other languages. The bags were easy enough to identify, and I was quite pleased to learn about the hidden Mickey Mouse head shape in each section of the puzzle.I have to say my favorite part is the size of each movie scene. At approx. 4,032 pieces in each section of the puzzle, it's quite manageable. I did the 9,000 piece Underwater Paradise one last year, and I felt like 4,500 pieces per half was just too big. I have a pretty normal size dining room table, and one section fits pretty nicely with a few inches to spare.I've started with the Lion King, and will probably work backwards in time. Sorting will be key in completing this timely. I think the only thing I was surprised with, in comparison to previous Ravensburger puzzles, is with the "edge" pieces that connect to other parts. It was very obvious in the Underwater Paradise puzzle which pieces would connect with the other half because of how the pieces were shaped. This one is not like that - all of the "inner edge pieces" are shaped exactly like all the other pieces. I'm a little disappointed, but it will just make it a little more challenging. There are a LOT of areas that will be tedious to complete, but this is absolutely top-notch Ravensburger quality as usual. I am so far beyond satisfied.I won't be back to update unless something goes disastrously wrong. Haha

Fabulous 9 month project
My wife was very keen to tackle this 'huge' project and to her credit she tackled it with diligence and perseverance. Ravensburger makes it easy to manage the 10 separate puzzles by dividing them into individual bags, labelled A to J. However, there are common borders which make it a little trickier. We purchased 10 separate boards, one for each puzzle, which we could link together on all of them being completed.Once my wife finished all 10 puzzles we had to take them by car to our local pavilion to assemble the 'complete' puzzle. This didn't take too long as my wife had set it up well so she only had to link the respective matching borders for the various puzzles. It looked fabulous when finished and was a tremendous 'picture' after all the work. Our neighbours and friends enjoyed seeing the fruits of my wife's labours.

Missing Pieces
We got this puzzle a couple weeks ago and recently finished the first section (Snow White), which was a blast putting together! We are thoroughly enjoying this puzzle as it is very challenging and rewarding all at the same time. My one complaint is after finishing the first section, we are missing 4 pieces. I’ve submitted a request to Ravensburger for replacement pieces and will be back to update once I hear back from Ravensburger with replacement pieces! Definitely a 5-star review pending customer service.UPDATE** We received all 4 of the missing pieces. I was worried that the 4 pieces wouldn't be the exact ones needed, but Ravensburger was perfect and the pieces were exactly the ones we needed to finish the Snow White portion. It did take a couple weeks to get the pieces, but knowing they are coming from Germany, I expected a little bit of a delay in receiving the pieces. We have since finished the Little Mermaid portion and no missing pieces there. All in all, a very great product and great customer service through the request for replacement puzzle pieces.

Love it so much we just bought the 90Th Mickey one
So far we are enjoying this puzzle. To make assembly easier, we cleared our half my daughters bedroom. We put two 6’ folding tables together and then put (2) 4’x6’ pieces of wall paneling on top. As we finish each section, it gets Glued and then sandwiched between the paneling. This way we can continue to work on the next one.We also use baking sheets to separate the pieces. This has been working well for us.So far we are not missing any pieces.I do agree that the pieces don’t always lock together. Now that we are aware, we just work around that by transferring sections around on thin cutting sheets from the dollar store

What a challenge on the horizon
Delivered on time and at a great price. Found pricing at other stores in excess of $500. Comes in one giant box with individual bags for each of the 10 scenes. We are about 50% complete with the first scene, and all pieces seem to fit well, and are very sturdy. Will update as we complete more sections of the puzzle. Based on our research it will take 600+hrs to complete.

I really wanted to give it 5 stars, but....
My main complaint is when you complete a tiny section...even as little as 3 pieces ...you can't easily move them without all the pieces falling. For such an enormous puzzle I am very disappointed in this factor. I also had to move this massive puzzle off the kitchen table since I had company over for dinner and moved it to a dedicated puzzle room since this is going to take some time finishing. And let me tell you that was a task I will never do again. It was the biggest pain in the bleep. I love the puzzles that you can literally pick up by one knob and carry it across the house with ease. I need to win the lottery to add-on a room that would have a big enough wall to display this when completed. Not sure what I will do otherwise. But I will cross that bridge in a few years LOL. I want to show off the long hard work, I don't want to just shove it back in the box.
