Does this keep the water hot and if so for how long

I use mine with a Yeti jug and the yeti keeps it hot for a long time...I just got this to carry the jug in on my shoulder

Does this fit the rtic 64 oz water jug with handle?

Yes but a little tight. My original water bottle and cover fit perfectly. My cover for my original water bottle the zipper broke so that’s why I ordered this case. I used it once and the zipper broke again. I just took a key ring and put it through the part where the zipper was and it works great
